Syphon was taken, so I just put a 'z' on the end.

It's mostly dedicated to one of my favourite PS1 games of all time; Syphon Filter.

My user name (robinkom) goes all the way back to the original Diablo back in 1996. Actually its the simplified version because all login fields on any website ever don't allow symbols of any kind.

It was, at one point, Robin_{KoM}. Robin for my Rogue's name and {KoM} for my ill-fated clan that didn't last more than a week or two. It was short for "Kings of Metal" a la the Manowar album of the same name. Yes, it was a stupid idea. It was 1996!!! (Hehehe.)

It's greek for "Free" or "Freedom" and stolen from this [http://home.stevenpressfield.com/books/last_amazons.asp] novel.
Isn't it freedom "Eleutheria"? I studied Ancient Greek, but my memory is a bit hazy.
I've heard both, in the novel it was translated as freedom, I've been told by greek people it's free and the internet tells me both translations are correct... so your guess is as good as mine really.
I think "Eleutheria represents the concept of freedom, while "Eleuthera" is the adjective (free) in it's feminine form.

I'm pretty sure actually.

Mine was the name of a Playmobil shoemaker who was awesome and made fast run shoes in a game I played when I was smaller. Hype: The Time Quest. It was epic! XD

I haven't studied classical greek since 1994, and even then we probably didn't get to "eleuthera". So I'm fine with your conclusion, after all I can just blame the writer of the novel for the mistake. Besides I like Eleuthera better than Eleutheria (both of which I've used as tags before). I find the "i" just adds one too many syllables.

It was a creation of a boring day in college, me and few friends made me up as a failing superhero, who wears purple spandex and a green cape, and gets to civilians in "trouble" using a skateboard, but mostly ends up smashing into the back of buses and ice cream trucks, And also wears a cardboard cut out mask. Hence, Action Dan was born.

Goosebagman was inspired by my hobby: playing the bagpipes.
You see, when learning the bagpipes, you usually don't start on a full set. You remove the drones (the tall, humming things that lay across the shoulder) altogether and cork the stocks so you can learn proper breathing technique while playing the chanter (the part where the fingers go and the melody comes out). The bagpipe is called a "goose" when corked up like this. So I just tacked onto that the ever so sophisticated portmanteau "bagman" and voila.
I made it my username on youtube about 4 years ago when I was just starting and it has been my universal username for every account I have online since.

It actually comes from a poem that I wrote when I was a teenager. The last line is "and dented gods play at home". It was a reference to how (at the time) most of us hard core gamers were super smart outcasts (the dented part) living in our own worlds (the god part).

Ironically, I'm a complete athiest.
