Mine is a physical phenomenon that occurs when you put a current through a conductive fluid and then subject it to a magnetic field. Kinda like a railgun, but with salt water or plasma...

I found it in a book, looked it up on Wiki, then it stuck when I went away from my old name: Ukimos which was a nick I got in school...

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Technically it's from all of them.
Drebin 893 mentions it in MGS4.

But you're right. :D

Yay. But I heard the La-le-lu-li-lo in MGS2. I don't recall hearing it in MGS:TTS. Plus I didn't play 3 or 4 so yeah. But still YAY!

Back when I was in the peace corps, I met a remarkable man.

In the steamy jungles of the DRC, there was a lieutenant who fought for the Liberalia Resistance Front. His name was Kule Matumbe, though many of the people he had been fighting with were English mercenaries, and had thus given him the affectionate nickname, "Jack." We were with a convoy heading north from Kindu along the Lualaba river...

Ah, well. Anyway. Long story short. Matumbe Jack.

...I'll never forget him.

I just made my name phonetically correct in English but it is also a jab at society for not being able to pronounce syllables and it is a little bit ghetto.

Came from a D&D session where one of the players had named his raven familiar "Quoth", to which I said that he should have called himself Nevyrmoore. Or at least thought it. But either way, I played around with it in my head for some time, and I actually kinda liked it, so I started using it.

But like hell am I going to name possible future familiars Quoth.

Wow, I thought I was gonna be the only one with a D&D background. My story is pretty long, and hilarious, but it involves Demyx from Kingdom Hearts 2 flying away on a giant bee, yelling "iiiiii'm king of the beeeees!" in a high pitched voice.

I picked it because I thought it was funny. I don't see any point to having a cool or intimidating nickname on the internet. That's not what people remember. There are billions of variations off of "deathassassin" or something of the like out there, and no one will remember them. I want to be remembered so I chose a name that when people see it they can't help but snicker. I find being funny on the internet gets you a lot more attention than being cool. I don't even think cool exists on the web.
