What Dragon Age II DLC do you want to see?

First of all, PLEASE don't turn this into another "DA2 sucks and I won't buy any DLC and it needs to just die" thread. I would also like to hear what you really want to see that extends the world, and not just "Derp, DLC to fix ______".


Myself, I would love to see a DLC where we play as Varric and learn the origins of Bianca. (If you haven't noticed in game, when asked about it, he says "There was a girl, and I made a promise. Bianca is the only story I can never tell.") Definitely has me curious.

Just give me another healer. Or give Merril the creation tree (that should be a patch, in my opinion). Another tank would be nice, too. Though I do love Aveline and Merril can also do surprisingly well in that role.

And for a bonus mission. "Heimlich Age": we just are able to get Fenris to cough out whatever is in his throat. God, I hate his voice.

As much as DLC featuring some of the cast would be .. interesting .. BioWare has stated before the release of Dragon Age 2 that they would be focusing on DLC evolving around Hawke, and not do what they did in Dragon Age Origins. I can get behind that. I would rather advance Hawke (as we have Shepard) than someone else.

I got an idea, let's do a Dragon Age: Awakening on DA 2. The story ends with him running off into the wilderness, causing an uprising of the 14 Circle of Magi proving the Templar could be defeated(in my game at least), and just disappeared... mysteriously, so as the Hero of Ferelden. Better yet, let's give Dragon Age 2 an Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Game devs usually have stuff they did not put in a game lying around, let's have a DA 2.5 where you dual-play as HoF and Hawke as you travel through Thedas (all of it: Tevinter, Orlais, the Free Marches, Baarasad or whatever the Qunari homeland is, Ferelden, and whatever i didn't mention maybe the Golden City.). I mean, even though some keep bitching about DA 2, there could be some redemption in Dragon Age II: Redemption.

A toolset patch would be nice. Not as DLC, but just in general.

More seriously, I would like to see character epilogue DLC. You could follow what each character does after the end of the game, solving one of the major complaints about the ending.

It's not really what I want, but I'm expecting flemeth to turn up again, and on the upside if she does there more of a chance of me learning to turn into a dragon.

I would however quite like to just see what happens next, awakening style, the whole 'and then hawke wandered off' thing was kind of a disappointment for me.

Baresaad is the name of the Qunari army, or possibly just the invasion force tasked with conquering Thedas.

Noone knows what the Qunari homeland is called, but the occupied territories are the islands of Seheron and Par Vollen. They're all jungley.

And the Golden Black City would have to come right at the end of the series. It's the source of the taint itself, resolving that subplot would be the equivalent of taking out the big world spanning threat and leaving Thedas in peace and harmony (or at least mundane, boring war and racism) forever.

Could be the events lead him over to Orlais. Since you know that is where DA3 is likely to be.

This sounds good to me. Though I believe DLC will probably have to do with that "time in the wilderness" Varric mentions or even the actual evading of Cassandra and her inquisition party. Of course, the game has lots of room to maneuver what with there being years in between the different acts; that's plenty of time for random adventures.

I agree with Anah'ya: chances are, we won't be seeing much, if any, DLC that doesn't follow Hawke. Even if BioWare hadn't told us Hawke would be their focus for DLC, the level cap is 50. They probably made it insanely high for a reason. Not that I personally wouldn't enjoy a suite of companion-centric DLC's.

I think I would most enjoy something that has Hawke meet Morrigan, where we get some resolution about her potential dragon-soul-baby. It'd be cool if they, say, get forced out of their little home beyond the Fade and Hawke finds them on the run. I really hope that if we ever do meet Morrigan as Hawke, it won't be as a boss fight, but as a real character.

this, because in both games we find him surrounded by corpses, and if you poke him enough times he spouts this dark prophecy about somebody doing badassery on an epic level


some dlc revolving around the support characters would be nice , if only to tell us about why they are the way they are in more entertaining ways than a big ass block of text, because honestly i haven't looked at my codex at all

If those two franchises were to take place in the same universe, they could easily fit into the same timeline, rendering time travel unnecessary.
