World of the Worlds. The Cruise one. I was about twelve, and I just got bored. But my parents' alarm for two years had been the CD version, so maybe I was being a kiddie snob.

Saw 1+ 2. Really boring movies. All it was was gore so I just told my Dad "I'm just gonna go play videogames now" and buggered off in both occasions.

i got tricked into watching the first 20 minutes of the twilight movie... ran screaming out of the den where we were watching it...
I have never read those books or watched those movies, having been warned by at least 3 people to stay away. Was it so bad you couldn't even watch it just to make fun of it?

I shut off Scott Pilgrim vs The World within about 20 minutes. What godawful hipster shit that was; trying far, far too hard to represent the zeitgeist.
I think this movie was "kind of nice", but I had the impression that something was wrong. It made me feel ashamed for story for some reason, and at some moments I almost shift+deleted the file.
I think this Scott Pilgrim's attempt to "represent the zeitgeist" (that you said) is what is wrong about the movie. Maybe they overdid the band-game thing.
Anyway, thank you for your contribution.

I can say that I walked out SPIRITUALLY from Tim Burton`s Alice in Wonderland because I had payed to see it in English, but the original projection had the subtitles screwed off so they screened the Portuguese dubbed version. Awful.
I say spiritually because me=y companies convinced me to stay.
Now I think I should have walked out anyway. After that Mad Hatter`s dance at the end... *facepalm* I felt very very sorry for Johnny Depp`s carrier.

I don't think it was quite that bad, but yeah. It was pretty bad and I've lost a substantial amount of respect for the opinions of friends who have declared it "best movie evar." No. Just no.

I've never walked out of a movie, but I sure did fall asleep during Ang Lee's "Hulk."

God that movie was long and boring. My lovely beer buzz was gone before I even saw the actual hulk on screen!

The Remake of the Pink Panther, this is the only time I ever walked out of a movie theater... and I got to go in and see it for free even!

None, I'm not really all that critical of movies, or at least I never feel pissed off enough to leave.

Oh, but some of my friends were watching High School Musical 2, I sat down for about 5 minutes, made a couple of cracks about the hat kid's sexuality, and left.

I have never walked out of a movie while at the cinema.

If they come on television or for movie nights I walk out of:

All Harry Potter movies after and including 3
Jackass
The Saw Movies
Daniel Craig's Bond

That's about it, I'm sure there's others but they're more the kind that I forget even if I do watch them, so they don't impact on me so much. The above are ones that actually make me annoyed and angry that they expect me to sit through their drivel.

I've never walked out of a movie that I've already paid to see. I came really close to abandoning "Baby Mama", my least favorite movie that I've seen in theaters.
They usually give you your money back, as long as you haven't seen over 75% of the movie.

Kinsey, watching two middle aged people having uncomfortable sex on screen was just too much to bear.
It was probably no more then ten minutes in.

The only time I walked out of a movie was during the American... and that was because the fire alarm went off. It turned out to be nothing, so we went back inside and finished it.

There are plenty of movies I haven't finished yet, but one that I can remember watching, not enjoying, and sending it back to Netflix without finishing was Daybreakers. I just wasn't interested in anything at all that was going on. Repo Men was so much better. They were similar styles, it's just that Repo Men actually made an interesting movie.

Never done it, but I don't usually go to the cinema much anyway.
