I think my friend sent me a link to ZP's review of Lego Indy in 2008, so I started watching his videos. Then I got hooked on Unskippable too, so I finally joined in 2009. I started using the forums and found out how much better they are here than many other sites.

I was on EVE one day when someone linked me to ZP's EVE review. I lurked for a while but eventually made an account because there was some thread I really wanted to post in.

Fallen Earth, the MMO. They said they'd done an interview with Escapist that was to be posted in the next issue. So I checked up on the site, waited. Waited... Then I waited some more, followed by a good bit of waiting. Three months later, still no goddamn FE interview. I was quite put-off by The Escapist. (Now you can't hardly watch a vid here without the same tired FE ad preceding it - ugh.)

FE was crap. But in my time waiting I found There Will Be Brawl. And I've been lurking at The Escapist since.
