Halo 1
Halo 2
Halo 2
Gears of War
Gears of War 2
Bioshock
Legend of Zelda:OoT (pain in the ass though)
Golden Eye
Fallout 3
Peggle (if that counts?)
Left 4 Dead (all 4 campaigns beat in a day)
Halo: ODST
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Star Wars Battle Front
Dynasty Warrior 3-6 (all campaigns beat with Shu, Wu, Wei and other)

That's all I can think of right now, but yeah. I think it's a lot, maybe too much. I should slow down my darn gameplay.

The only ones i've ever beaten in a single sitting are Resident Evil 1-3, many years ago on my old PS1. And only because of the rewards for beating the game in a timely manner (infinite launcher and the like). So not only were those single-sitting runs, but also speedruns.

Otherwise, none. No time to sit on my ass for 8+ hours. I would get way too bored after probably the 2nd hour, then turn off the game. Plus, I like getting my money's worth.

Though I have beaten plenty of NES games in one sitting, but that's a given. Those are hella short. Bragging about beating an NES game in a single sitting is like bragging about beating a fighting or sports game in a single sitting. Moot achievement.

Well I call these "All-nighter, one timers" as i usually have only beaten these games once:

God of War
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Silent Hill
Silent Hill 3
Silent Hill: Origins
Dino Crisis
Dino Crisis 2
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2
Metal Gear Solid 4 (well I've done this 7x..)
Terminator Salvation
Half Life
Half Life: Blue Shift
Half Life: Opposing Force
Half Life 2: Episode 1
Half Life 2: Episode 2

Syphon Filter
Syphon Filter 2
Syphon Filter 3
Fear Effect
Resident Evil 2 (used to do this on a daily basis too)
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil Survivor
Resident Evil 5

I think that wraps up most of them. I know there's more..

Me and a mate finished spyro in one saturday. The only game this generation i've done in one sitting is Fallout 3 but can't really count it because it was like my 5th playthrough. Same with the first STALKER if one sitting means you're allowed turning of the computer when it crashes and then going back on.

I do pretty much everything there is to do in a game. So, beating a game for me requires a lot more time and effort than your idea of beating a game.

So, no, I have not.

None, i've never been that pathetic!
*nudge*

One game with a speed run is fine, but when the lists of games that you've beaten in one sitting starts to out pace your laundry list that's pretty sad.

Speed running things really isn't any less sad. Arguably... more sad.

I've always been more on the train of thought, if you are going to play a game for a long time, the situations might as well differ, even if it's the same style.

Don't get me wrong, i've got socially conditioned by games in the past. I used to be able to perfectly... and i mean perfectly, hover helicopters in Desert Combat (and if you think... that's nothing, try it), and be memorising the order of rockets so i could lead the next shot better, etc, used to enrage people i played with because of this style of thinking. A no style gimbo of the highest order.

No bragging rights in single player either. I don't care how difficult the AI is.
I see less of a reason why you have a problem with speed running and more of an elaborate explanation regarding the size of your "hat".

The only one I beat in one sitting was back when I was about 12. The original Alien Vs. Predator that was released for SNES. That game was shit... I was so disappointed; it was my first and only time I did that.

Then again, if I didn't have a life, I would probably have more on my list.

The only games I've ever beaten in one sitting are Portal, Flower, and And Yet It Moves. Sure, the "full length" of those were, like, four hours each, but I still think they count.

EDIT: Oh, and Contra. The first one.

Super Mario Bros 3 for the NES, Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat for the GameCube and Klonoa for the Wii. Admittidely these games can be completed in under 4 hours (especially SMB3), so I don't know if they count as full length games by todays standards, but even so, I beat them all in one sitting.

EDIT: Pokémon Platinum. I imported an American copy before it was released in the UK, but after a while it decided to wipe my game file. I had a free day, so I thought why not I'll just play it again. When I say I beat this game in one sitting, I beat the Elite 4 and got to the Battle Frontier. Still took a while though.
