I don't think I could actually beat any characters that I hate. They'd all beat me to death with my own arms.

My top 3 that haven't already been mentioned:
1: Gabriel, from Rainbow 6 Vegas 1&2
2: Any resident of Tenpenny tower except Herbert "Daring" Dashwood (Fallout 3). Spoiled self-entitled pricks, all around!
3: Aldo Corleone, Hyman Roth, and Mitchell from Godfather 2. Uptight Gangster douches to the Nth degree.
And as a bonus, I'll toss in Mr. Zakhaev from COD4 (I think that's his name, the one-armed terrorist). Yeah, I know you kill him, but it was such a fulfilling moment to unload my 1911 into him, reload, and unload agian during the slow-mo scene that I wish I could've reloaded it as a checkpoint.

This pompous little bastard pretends to be your friend, but is really a coward, who ends up running away at the first sign of trouble, leaving you to be left when your teacher is killed, and you end up being exiled. When news spreads that you've become a pirate (though you arent) Snowe is leading the charge against you. And when you stop him... BAM, HE'S A PIRATE this little weasel wont just let you be! And by the end, you find him floating in the water, and your expected to forgive him!!!! the source of all your problems in that game, lol. I'd forgive him.. after one swift kick between the legs.

Starkiller the Apprentice, oh GODS Starkiller the Apprentice. I'd keep him tied up in my basement so whenever I'm having a bad day I could make him scream. That'd brighten me up.
