Well I beat Ys: Oath in Felghana last night for the first time on nightmare difficulty, so I feel accomplished and relieved. God damn that final boss was a pain in the ass, one of the hardest I've encountered in a loooong time. Giving bosses bullet hell properties always turned into a nightmare.

Awesome game though.

I just finished Dragon Age: Origins today after about 70 hours of playtime. Despite the amount of time I put into it, I'm not sure if I enjoyed it. I got my money's worth but I'm not sure if I was having fun. Weird.

Was it the only two points of articulation in the face or the broken magic (storm of the century for the ridiculously easy win) that did you in?

The Grey Warden, Monkey Butt, always looked like a deer caught in headlights. With his mouth agape and his eyes wide open, I always felt like he was over his head and about to shit himself at any given time.
I didn't even pick up hell storm until very very late into the game. Otherwise, it would have taken me about five hours instead of seventy.

Also, chess most certainly counts.

I beat Plants vs Zombies a couple days ago, but I don't "beat" games every day. My friends and I did play a rather lengthy match of 2 vs 2 in Team Fortress 2 today, though.

I haven't beaten a game in some time. In fact, the last time I played through a game would be when me and a friend crushed L4D2 for the millionth time, which was like six months ago. Holy shit, I've probably spent a total of 15-20 hours gaming over the past year. I would play 15-20 hours a week as recently as a year ago.
