Playing through Dragon Age 2 again just to see different story possibilities, combat and the side-quests have become the ultimate grind.

The fallout games hit that mark once you've completed all the main quests and are left wandering about clueless asking every passer by if they have something for you to do.
I'm sure the same will apply for Skyrim eventually too, but my time on it has been so fragmented that it's still thoroughly enjoyable when I do get the chance.

The Crysis games, only because I find the hardest difficulty actually quite challenging, I don't think "fun" applies to this scenario anymore though, it's all for testing myself.

Addictive gameplay(MUST FILL UP PROGRESS BARS!)?
That just about summed up Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest 1: NES). That game was made out of grind but leveling up always felt like a great achievement because of how tough some of the enemies in the game were. Killing your first Dragon for example was really satisfying but thinking back on it I don't know if I could honestly call it 'fun'. I beat it and enjoyed everything up until the ending which just felt kind of flat to me.

I played World of Warcraft for a while. I leveled up one character to 20 on a free profile and had two others who I had up to...the teens maybe. Once I actually bought play time though I think I only lasted 3 days out of the month I purchased.

These three-

Pokemon (sorry but I don't exactly find capturing the rest of the Pokemon for the sake of gotta catch them all to be fun).

Dragon Quest 9 (I still play it after finishing the story just to download the lastest quest since they offer it on a weekly basis).

Animal Crossing (The point that I doing all the stuff to raise cash just to pay back that loan.)

Skyrim was fun for the first 10 hours but the 75 after that were just a massive chore to get the achievements and shut everyone up who doubted i knew the game inside out without playing it. They were wrong and this game rates as one of my lowest experiences as a consequence

Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, if that counts. I enjoyed it, but then it all descened into quickscoping and shit everywhere, but I still kept on playing.

World of Warcraft.

played that game for years after it stopped being fun, was mostly in it to socialize with the friends i made in game. Plus the raiding guild i was in kinda needed me, so i would feel bad about leaving.
I had the exact same experience about halfway through Cataclysm.

I greatly regret not getting more of my old guildmates' contact information though, as they were great people and really good friends.

However, I took a 'break' from the game at one point, and realized that raiding had become dull and repetitive... and just never came back.

Lately Pokemon.

I just put my copy of Fire Red into my DS 'cause I was bored and looking for something to do for a few hours.

That was 3 days ago and I haven't played anything else since. Sure the trainer fights and the gym leader battles are enjoyable, but by far most of my time has just been spent battling wild pokemon and leveling up my own. I can't stop though, I need my 'mons to be stronger!
Almost the exact same situation with me, except with Diamond.

OT: Fallout 3. Not because it's not fun anymore, but because i have done (seriously, ive checked) every quest there is, except one which i dont want to do (Strictly Business- enslave Red and Flak). The only thing left for me to do is Wander, Kill, Loot, Sell, Repeat.

I could start a new game, but there is the age old problem of "If i start a new game i will have something to do, but i wont have any of my awesome crap."
