The New Wolfenstein, literally couldn't pass the 5th level without thinking I was being masochistic.

has to be the new AVP

Think about this, it's Aliens versus Predator

The marines, are from Aliens
Weyland Yutani, is from Aliens
The colony designs, are from Aliens
for the love of god, the background of the title screen, has a Face-Hugger in it.

SO WHY IN GOD'S NAME IS THE ALIEN CAMPAIGN THE SHORTEST ONE?!?!

I completed the other campaigns within maybe, a day, each. But I barely had time to load up the game before the Alien campaign was over.

And why would you take, Aliens Versus Predator, THE MOVIE, and use it's story as a basis for the plot of this game. It's supposed to be Aliens, fighting, Predators! WE DON'T NEED A PLOT!

I would say Final Fantasy XIII but I was expecting that to be shit.
X-2 was shit, XII was shit, and apparently I'm better at pattern recognition than most people, so I wasn't really disapointed.

Final Fantasy XII. After FFX-2, I hoped it'd be a return to form.

I almost put "Shadow the Hedgehog" - my sister got me that for my birthday one year. But I did know before I put the disc in the system it was gonna be a disappointment - she knows so little about games she honestly thought it'd be essentially the same as Sonic the Hedgehog (1), which I'd always loved in a nostalgic kinda way.

Also, and also a present from my sister "Ape Escape 2", in a way. I'd actually asked her for "Ape Escape" for my birthday, and she'd been having real trouble remembering the name (for some god-knows-what reason). I already had Ape Escape 2 and 3, and wanted to see where the series began (same reasion I got FF Origins + Anthology). I had little hope of her remembering it, so when I saw Ape Escape, I was excited despite the fact it was clearly the wrong shape for a PS1 game. The 2 was...a massive disappointment. Sadface.

Best surprise: Monkey Puncher. That game kicked ass.

Definitly Mirror's Edge. I played the demo like everyone else, it seemed like a good change of pace from the other games I had and well....to say the least I dissapointed, the Combat did it in sure, but the biggest dissapointment was proably the story. I hated all the characters, good guys and bad guys and the elevators (It didn't help that I just got off Mass Effect when I started playing it)

A close second goes to Red Faction Gurrellia and Prototype. The former is a poor excuse for an open world game with crappy AI and crazy weapons that completely took the fun out of the game (Seriously, I beat the final boss in two shots! He didn't even have time to finish his banter.)

The latter is fun if you're looking for small bits of violence, but when the game really picks up, it becomes a Clusterfuck. I was litterally pressing buttons half the time and the other half I was sent spiraling through the air.

Normally, it's pretty hard for a game to disappoint me since I'm stubbornly determined to squeeze every drop of amusement out of a game I possibly can, but... Dragon Age. Ugh, Dragon Age. I tried to like it, I really did, but it just wasn't working. The combat, when it wasn't irritating, was absolutely boring. I found the story to be completely uninteresting, and most of the characters just annoying. Shale was pretty much the only one I found interesting for her bird hating ways. I got about 3/5ths of the way through before I just dropped it. I'll finish it eventually, but only because I'm stubborn. A shame too, since a good friend of mine whose taste coincides with mine fairly well kept going on about how it was the best thing since sliced bread.
