Fallout 2 bring back Van Buren!
What I'm wondering is why nobody's tried to create a mod for Van Buren. Now obviously there's the legal issues if they take elements from the leaked version, but if they do a fan recreation using their own tools and release it as a non profit mod for another game, I'd be all for it.

As for my choice: A sequel to Knights of the Old Republic 2.

Not an MMO that shits over everything the second game set up to be replaced with Galactic Empire 2.0
You know I have a funny feeling there is one, it's just not very good. But I too would like to see some dedicated fans whip one up.

Firstly, TheRussian is a genius for thinking of Republic Commando.

Another sequel I would like is for System Shock 2. Not the 'spiritual successor' that is the Bioshock series, but a true sequel where you have to confront Shodan and all that jazz.

There actually is a prequel, though I don't think it's official. It's called Starlancer. Look it up. It's interesting.

Second best FPS ever made.
This.

I was going to comment about how I knew a lot of people we're going to say this.

I would say 999 but IT's GETTING ONE!!! *high 5*
Okay, maybe Persona 5-- Oh, wait, ATLUS HAS SAID THEY'RE WORKING ON IT! *high 5*
...How about Devil Surviv-- THIS YEAR! *high 5*

Alright, here's one that ISN'T going to get a sequel any time soon, Elite Beat Agents. Great humor, challenging (and addictive) gameplay, mediocre music, though, it definately needs some more, considering the first game was just so short.
I agree with Elite Beat Agents, the ending hints at a sequel anyway so it is highly probable that a sequel will be made. While it sold less than expected, it still sold rather well.

I also can't wait to import me a copy of devil survivor 2 (it's already out in america)
I also await more news on persona 5
...You're saying that Devil Survivor 2 is already out... AND I DIDN'T KNOW?! Now I'm going to rob a bank to get enough money to buy it. Or just rob Gamestop. You know, Atlus, this is why your games sell fairly poorly in America. It's not ENTIRELY cultural barriers, it's that you DON'T FUCKING ADVERTISE! Hell, the last I heard of it was back in, like, June, when I heard that they were making it!

ahem. actually it's not a direct sequel. it's more like the broken steel DLC for fallout 3 where it just stretches out the storyline more. and updates it's look and sounds.

I'd love to see a sequel to Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg.

It had such a quirky concept and would be so awesome in HD.

Seeing a lot of love for Jade Empire and KotOR 2 which is always good to see. I'll add to the list two names that have been sadly almost criminally overlooked:

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, an incredibly cool PC-only (I think) RPG, pretty broken when first came out but polished to a brilliant shine by fan-modders who fixed the bugs and added content. Depending on your charecter type the game could be completely different, you could be an Ann Rice esque pretty boy, a hidious Nosertu who has to travel by sewers or even a crazy vampire who had lamp posts talking to you.

Planescape: Torment, this is one for the old school. In my opinion still one of the best RPG's in the world and I think still has the best ending of any game. Travel the very boundeires of existance with a talking skull, a sucuibus, a half demon, an alien samuari, a robot, a being of pure fire and a ghost consumed with the spirit of justice (in a bad way) to discover what you are and why you can't die. If you've never played it stop reading this and download it now, its aged but the writing is fantastic. Anyways forgive my fan gushing though a direct squeal would be cool I actually think its best if it was more a spirtual squeal in the same setting perhaps with cameo's from the previous NPC's. I wouldn't want the first game's ending ruined.

Metal Arms; Glitch in the system.

ARGH I wanna body-hijack giant robots, shoot exploding rivets, and mow down armies with their own soldiers again.

Too bad some producer somewhere is using the document ownership of the Metal Arms IP as a coaster.

Also this. A non-violent pokemon FPS. And it worked.

What hell?

I read through all the posts and I'm shocked that there's no mention Arcanum. It doesn't have to be a direct sequel, but the rich setting deserves to be revisited.
