I would say 999 but IT's GETTING ONE!!! *high 5*
Okay, maybe Persona 5-- Oh, wait, ATLUS HAS SAID THEY'RE WORKING ON IT! *high 5*
...How about Devil Surviv-- THIS YEAR! *high 5*

Alright, here's one that ISN'T going to get a sequel any time soon, Elite Beat Agents. Great humor, challenging (and addictive) gameplay, mediocre music, though, it definately needs some more, considering the first game was just so short.
I agree with Elite Beat Agents, the ending hints at a sequel anyway so it is highly probable that a sequel will be made. While it sold less than expected, it still sold rather well.

I also can't wait to import me a copy of devil survivor 2 (it's already out in america)
I also await more news on persona 5
...You're saying that Devil Survivor 2 is already out... AND I DIDN'T KNOW?! Now I'm going to rob a bank to get enough money to buy it. Or just rob Gamestop. You know, Atlus, this is why your games sell fairly poorly in America. It's not ENTIRELY cultural barriers, it's that you DON'T FUCKING ADVERTISE! Hell, the last I heard of it was back in, like, June, when I heard that they were making it!

ahem. actually it's not a direct sequel. it's more like the broken steel DLC for fallout 3 where it just stretches out the storyline more. and updates it's look and sounds.
I don't care if it's a direct sequel. I'd buy herpes if it Shin Megami Tensei in the name.

Radiata Stories on the PS2, that game was amazing except for Jack grunting and whatever every time he used a weapon ability; that REALLY got old REALLY quickly.

I believe Jade Empire definitely deserves a sequel.
Definitely. That's an amazing game that NEEDS a sequel, or at least a nice, expanded HD remake. Come on, EA! You own BioWare, now, and you love money, so DO THIS!!!

Also, Jet Set Radio Future. I'm grabbing Jet Grind Radio on XBLA as soon as it comes out, and I'm never getting rid of my XBOX copy of JSRF. I want a 3rd one. Especially if they expand it a bit to include skateboarding and free running, and not just rollerblading.

Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf. Amazing game which I believe needs a sequel or remake. Also Brutal Legend because that games rocked and had Ozzy, Rob Halford and the immortal Lemmy in it.

Without a doubt, Second Sight, one of my all-time favourite video games.
I have been wondering what this game was for a while. For some reason the box art in this always peeked my interest.

I'd say Red Dead Redemption, and not a spiritual sequel like Redemption was to Red Dead Revolver. The whole point of RDR was that the old west was ending but it never really gets that point across as well as it could have, especially after the game picks up 3 years later and nothing has changed. So yeah showing the world undergo some real change instead of people just saying it is changing would be nice.

I realize that keeping everything the same was so that the post game would be like the main game however it just really broke my immersion.

I concur that it did kind of break the immersion. The whole plot of the game revolved around the West changing and ultimately dieing.

I feel Platinum Games' Vanquish could use a good sequel. I do think one is in the works, but I don't think their developing it right now. The game had a very MGS-esque story that I enjoyed, but otherwise a bit generic using typical Japanese story and character archetypes (very MGS-esque, like I said.) However, I enjoyed it, and do recall the ending leaving much more to be desired. Fun game, regardless, and I'd love to see more done with the gameplay and set pieces.

Vanquish deserves another, definitely. Although they should remove those 1 hit kill enemies, they killed the game for me...

Mirrors Edge
One of my all time favourites, and despite what people say i thought the 1st person freerunning worked really well and the art style of bright colours on white gave a break from all these brown/greenblack games. But EA are still on the fence about a sequel because, i dunno maybe they're afraid of success or something
Although hopefully if there was a sequel they could build on the first game, i.e. longer game (and levels), less/improved combat, more freerunning with larger set pieces, more package delivery (possible sandbox alert?)etc.
If EA dont do this im going to become rich and famous, buy them and make them do it

BUSHIDO BLADE 2! Sweet jesus I miss that game.
Get the downloadable Deadliest Warrior games. They're more or less spiritual sequels. Nowhere near as stylish, but the 1 hit KOs are there, as is the damaging limbs, and multiple weapons.

Also, someone said Mirror's Edge? YES.

make Fallout 3 the way you think it should have been made because no one else is ever going to do it.
They already did. It was called New Vegas, and it was awesome.

Though I did love Fallout 3 as well.

Homefront. Now wait a moment and let me explain myself. the game was average at best, the world in which the game was set though was captivating. So it's not so much the game that needs a sequel, but the world. I want to fight NK's with guerilla warfare tactics.
