I wouldn't say I'm an expert. But I've played Shadow of the Colossus enough times to the point I'm completely comfortable with the controls and I can beat all the colossi, even the more difficult ones like no. 9 with relative ease. I also beat the Normal Time Attack. I also played through the games enough times to reach the Secret Garden.

Granted, I have yet to find all the fruit and white tailed lizards, and I haven't even touched Hard Time Attack mode. Other than that though, I like to think I'm very good at Shadow of the Colossus.
never made it to the secret garden...what's up there? what happens? TELL ME DAMN IT!!

OT: Don't think i'm really an expert in any game but Blue Vs Red...hell yeah i am or used to be i may need to catch up again

To be honest...

Not much. If you're playing the PS3 version, you get a trophy for reaching it but really that's it.

Oh, and there's a ton of fruit up there but it decreases your health bar rather than increases it.

Really the only reward you get is the satisfaction of reaching there, and I felt pretty satisfied after never being able to get up there for all the years I've played the game.

Otherwise, you're not missing much. *shrug*

Probably either the Halo series (I knew all of the lore, and I am pretty good at the game although I havent played in months), or Battlefield Bad Company 2, it is a great game, and probably 1) My favourite Battlefield game 2) My favourite multiplayer game

I finished Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri on the highest difficulty. Since i tend to not finish any game which is not a hardcore story driven RPG that was a feat for me. And I got told it actually is a feat on the highest difficulty. It was a race against time while the Spartans closed in on me to finish the Voice of the Planet and wiiiin! Oh sweet victory! Have I ever felt that way again before I defeated Ornstein&Smough alone? I think not.

The Elder Scrolls, Bioshock, Pokemon, World of Warcraft (Shudder), Legend of Zelda, and maybe Half-Life.

Nice question.

I would say that I am a total expert on the Original FarCry game. I beat every difficulty, know where to get the coolest stuff, etcetera.

I am soon becoming an expert 4ed DnD player, as well. No, I haven't memorized ALL of the books, but... I'm getting close.

Other Honorable Mentions:
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
Tetris
Armored Core: Project Phantasma
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3

Resident Evil 5, personally. I play through professional by myself with unlimited ammo turned off for the fun of it. I can go back to it anytime and do that too. But i'll also say i'm an expert in Kingdom Hearts II and Ratchet and Clank, both being childhood games I gave my life up to.

The new Fallout games and TES series.
I've spent almost equal time reading about the games as I have playing them.

To a lesser extent, Company of Heroes. I have friends who are a lot better and know a lot more.
