What game had the BEST graphics of 2008?

Oh it so has to go for Super Metroid this year!

Seriously though I thought that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue had picturesque graphics that blew my mind.

Because of the wide variability in PC specs, how do you assess this? Do we measure a game based on it's maxed-out settings on the best possible rig?

Also, is it fair to lump PC and console games into the same discussion?
