CHRONO CROSS

Nothing ends a fucking epic world-traveling, demigod-killing, body-switching, dimension-switching adventure like rolling credits.

Also, KOTOR II was pretty lame, too.

For me, Assassin's Creed. It's really just too damn abrupt.

They learn the locations of all the artifacts and just leave you in a room with a bunch of writing on it...great...and...*credits roll*....oh...BULLSHIT!!!

That was my reaction to it. I can't really say Fable 2 or Fallout 3, simply because...the way the rest of those games had been going, I honestly didn't expect anything epic. All of Fallout 3 was easy (to me anyway) and Fable 2...well...I was disappointed with that when the beginning was pretty much copy-pasted from the first one.

An honorable mention goes to The Force Unleashed though...yeah, you fight the Emperor, but you never actually kill him...Then why the hell do we fight him in the first place? Seriously, I always disliked games that had you fight bosses you never got to kill (or they ended up killing you) anyway, just because "it's the ending"...seems pointless and stupid.
i liked that ending so what you died he died for a noble cause. poor jacob

Just to be like everyone else, Fallout 3.

Thank god I listened to my friend and saved the game before.

Also, Halo 2.

Resistance 2.

It's just a depressing ending which seems to kill all possibilities for a 3rd installment. It also had a depressingly easy last boss fight and the 2-3 minutes after finishing off the last boss where your hands turn into god hands that make stuff explode to get off the floating ship.

are you serious no one has brought up the game BLACK god dam that was a mad dam game weapons could actually be changed to single shot if it was an automatic so no bull crap single shot only or burst fire only but the big issue is the ending Jesus Christ could not save the game developers from what i have in mind for them

any way it happens like this ur some black ops guy that has to tell ur story or else end up gettin the electric chair or spend ur life in prison when u finaly get to the end (what i thought was the fucking second last mission) the bloke u spend all that time talking to says lets finish this so u think lets kill this bastard traitor and plunk the credits come up it was one of the best fps shooters I've ever played and that happens arg god dam ill hang the creaters no wait ill burn there familys while there tied up helplesly and then gouge out there eyes and let them bleed to deat(nah wouldnt kill the familys not that kinda guy)

Anyone mention Ninja Gaiden 2? All of those satisfying fights on hard mode and then the boss was fun as well, but the ending just seeing him look into a sunset and then walk away into the mist left this bad taste in my mouth, like developers wanted to add something more.

Also hated GTA 4 ending, kind of the same reasoning as with NG 2. Was expecting something a bit more.

Fable 2... Hands down... Killing the guy with a MUSIC BOX by pressing freakin A... -.- An adventure in button mashing that ended in... mashing a single button.

Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus. I was game to all the weird stuff until Omega Weapon and on. It got really...off. It looked really nice and the cinematic was epic, but there was no clear cut resolution.

That and Devil May Cry 2. Holy crap that killed it for a while.

I'd have to say Fable 2. It made me genuinely angry with the game for being such a lame, cop-out ending. Just as it felt like it was going somewhere interesting, it suddenly turned to "congratulations! You've beaten the game! Now, pick a card to tell us if you're good or evil!"

It was enough to make me stop playing the game for quite some time. To be honest, I liked that quite a bit, except when it came to the story and main quests. It's just a lot more interesting to mess around with the simulations than it is to be told a crap story with few redeeming moments.

I just beat Fallout 3 today ironically (I just got it a week ago)and I was so pissed that I can't beat it and go on with my life in it like in oblivion. I had to load a save and that just always sucks.
Well then you'll be happy to know that the third DLC coming out fot it (aka broken steel) will fix that. They didn't say exactly how but it should eliminate that qripe.

Condemned 2 was amazing and terrifying until you gained the ability to shout at people and make thier heads explode.

Made the last chapter, boss fight and ending so so lame...

I found COD4 to be really abrupt and a bit of a kick in the balls...
