... DJ hero?

Nah, to be honest I've never really noticed any particular music that bugs me in games.

Warrior Within.

As much as I love that game, the alternative metal that's constantly playing is really fucking annoying!
Yes, I agree... It's terrible.

Another game with bad music is Half-Life 2. It randomly starts at a few selected battles and doesn't fit at all.

Any game where the "music" is just the same one or two measures of collective sounds throughout the course of the game.

Really? The battle music wasn't very memorable, but I don't remember being put off by it. The only one I can really remember is the music from the start of the hospital bit from Episode 1, which I liked a lot.

I wasn't too fond of God of war's music.
Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 had no memorable tunes.
What about the whole fighting in DC mission? That music was the most mournful, RIP America music I've ever heard! Jerked me heartstrings a little
I think I have to play it again to listen to the music.

The main theme from Medal of Honor European Assault. Don't get me wrong the main title score "Dogs of War" was a downright masterpiece, the rest of the game didn't live up to that single piece of music. The title screen wrote a check the rest of the game couldn't cash.

Probably Borderlands...the title theme and the commercial theme were wonderful....but once you actually get ingame...it's just always the same boring, generic wasteland exploring theme. I cannot play that game by myself or with someone else unless I have some of my own music in the background.

I've always hated the music in the pokemon games. The standard battle theme and that "traveling" song are tolerable, but I remember I had to play yellow version with the sound off pretty much at all times.

Oblivion *raises flame shield*. It's generic and uninspired, at least in my opinion. I don't see why people like it so much.

I don't know from personal experience but as I recall some people had issues with Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel because of a liberal use of heavy metal music.

Also another one I forgot...while not technically music from a game...i think..

But song that plays during the Modern Warfare 2 commercial

While I don't really like or dislike Eminem, what does hiphop/rap music have to do with modern war? The whole thing about that style of music is its suppose to be about fighting oppression and being rebellious and such, plus the lifestyle it seems to represent, is what you see our law enforcement officers having to deal with....So somehow...a game about war, and fighting for one's country and all that...can be symbolized with unwanted behaviour/bad messages, and an outright disregarding of the law.......I just don't get it...at all..It just seems like a complete oxymoron to me.
