The minute I read him downing Fallout 3's music, I took this as a troll thread.

I will continue to disregard it legitimacy this thread may have.
I had similar thoughts, Fallout 3 has some of my favorite music in any game.
i guess some people don't understand juxtaposition.

Blue Dragon's boss music was pretty horrid, though I'm probably the only person who played that game.
You are not, and I agree. Talk about jerking me out of the mood!

hmm after a while i would have to say bayonetta
QFMFT

This is the only game I have stopped playing solely cause the music was driving me insane.
i can't recall what the music was but i know that's not a good reason to quit a game
This played during almost every damn fight, so about 80% of the game:

I can tell you this. It's not going to be a popular game. It'd likely be something on the NES.

So, its not going to be Bayonetta, MW2, Dragon Age, or anything like that.

Gripshift or Trash Panic.

The soundtrack for Gripshift was probably chosen as an attempt to be "in with the kids".
It consists of terrible terrible rap music and annoying squeaky voices.

Oh geez, I'll have to say the music from Okage: Shadow King (or The Devil and I, to use it's other name). I won't even go there. I don't want to remember it. It was bad.

Warrior Within.

As much as I love that game, the alternative metal that's constantly playing is really fucking annoying!.

As much as I like Alt Metal and just metal in general, I just listened to that soundtrack (Never played the game before) and that's embarrassingly bad.

Dragon Age Origins, there was no memorable music in that game at all.
Hi Spiff.
I found the DAO ost to be memorable; memorably horrible. When it wasn't being generic it sounded like it was being played by an orchestra prone to seizures. The worst part was that the programming for it was horrible; I would sometimes still have the battle music playing long after I had looted the corpses.

I liked the Infamous soundtrack at first (reminds me of Tom Waits' current work) but after a while it got a bit too distracting. Everyone else I know hates it.

Final Fantasy X-2. Nuff said
I would have to disagree for a second, though X-2 was the worst game i have ever played...

Final Fantasy 13... i found that half the time they would just sit down a little girl and make her fake moaning and put crappy jazz music behind it. now that is bad music.

For me it would be Fallout 3. Except for the main menu music at about 30 seconds in. Of course, the start of that is rather annoying. But the idle, "wandering" music is just so damn annoying.
But 40's - 50's music is savage.

Haha I'm disreguarding the oldies music. They had those in the first three games as well. Nah I'm talking about the background (ambience?) music.
