I've beaten fallout 3 and halo 3 something like seven or eight times each.

I've beaten Mass Effect 2 around five times now, as well as Dragon Age: Origins.

I've beaten TESIV around three times.

That makes my top replays list.

Good, the OP mentioned more than one game, so i can too (I can't remember which ONE of these games i have replayed the most):

Kotor
Kotor II
DA: Origins
FF X
Kingdom Hearts

EDIT: "Replayed" in the technical sense of where i started a new game, after reaching a certain point in my current save, due to:
1.Internet tells me i've missed a missable item
2. Internet tells me i've made an unchangeable critical choice, that i don't like the outcome of
3. I have returned after a significant hiatus of playing so i can't remember critical parts of the story
4. i wanna play the begging again, cause this part is boring

Thats a tough call - there are a handful of games i have replayed so much, that i cannot even remember anymore how often i replayed them - and thus don't know which of them i replayed the most.

Those would be:
- Pirates! (Payware)
- Survival Crisis Z (Sandbox-Zombie-Survival-RPG-Roguelike-TopDownShooter, PC-Freeware)
- Mount'n Blade (Payware)
- Typhoon 2001 (Tempest Clone, PC-Freeware)

I've lost track of how many times I've played these through:

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis
The Operative: No One Lives Forever
Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Deus Ex

Jade Empire 22 times.
Mass Effect 8 times.
Mass Effect 2 6 times.
Fable TLC: 5-6 times.
KotOR: 7-10 times.
Dynasty Warriors 4, countless times.
Deathrow 13 times.
Fire Emblem Blazing Sword: 11 times.

That's only listing games i've beaten at least 5 times. If I don't think I can get at least 25 hours of playing time out of a game I probably won't buy it.

I am thinking it's Dragon Age. I've beaten it like 12 times. Close second would probably be Final Fantasy 4, at 8 times. Chrono Trigger is a respectable third with 5.

I am officially impressed with your 22 playthroughs of Jade Empire. I love that game, but I am nowhere near that number.

The Legend of Zelda, Iron Tank, Tales of Symphonia, True Crime: Streets of LA (not for the story, just dicking around and sight-seeing), the Assassin's Creed games, and MoH Frontline I've played the most times.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Way too many times to count.
This! Probably 7 or 8 times, next, fable 1 @ 6 times, and Chronology Trigger / FF3(6) 5 times each respectfully

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion 20+; Mass Effect 1/2 20+ each; and Final Fantasy 7 about 8 times. Speaking about them though makes me want to play them again... God damn you OP. You and your dog/cat/significant other.

Something about it just makes me keep replaying it, usually right after I beat it I instantly start another game. Could be that i'm a sucker for ancient China.

I don't know about you folks, but there a some games that I find myself coming back to year after year. The original KOTOR, Planescape: Torment, and The Longest Journey are probably my biggest repeat offenders. Even though I have basically memorized every second of those games, I still get a lot of joy out of walking/spellcasting/lightsabering down those old familiar hallways.

So, am I alone in this? Do you replay games as often as some people rewatch movies? And if so, which ones?
The one game I always tend to come back to is Suikoden 3. I tend to replay it at least once every year, so my current playcount is about 12 times.

God, I love that game! It's so narratively deep and has some great RPG and tactics elements.

The answer would be Wanted: Weapons of Fate, I could seriously speed-run that game I loved it so much I think I must have played through it at least 20 or so times.

I've got two options at this point. Both PC games, both Star Wars games. One is Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. The other: Republic Commando.

I've played both of those all the way through, at least once per difficulty setting, plus a few times with cheats for extra weapons/powers, and a few more times to do it without dieing, using only certain items or weapons (Like Lightsaber only/ pistol+grenades).

The total for Jedi Academy has got to be close to 15 times. Republic Commando, maybe only 9 from start to finish, but I redid the level on the assault ship over 20 times. I just love that part so much, because Trandoshans are more fun to kill than Super-battle Droids.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? (1989) =P

More recently, probably Uncharted 2. I am unable to get tired of that game. I love it so much!
My Aunt and Uncle, who live in a different state to me, used to have an incredibly old computer with a bunch of equally old games on it, and one of those was the original Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? It took me about 9 years of visits but I finally beat that game, just the once =D

As for my most replayed game... Well Star Wars on the original gameboy would be a contender, but I've never, ever managed to finish it xD
I used to be able to get up to final Death Star Trench level without losing a single life, but I could NOT beat it, even with extra lives found along the way. Preposterous...

Games I actually have finished... Still on the original Gameboy, I think Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening would be my number 1, followed by Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. Other than that, at 3 playthroughs each, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Banjo Tooie, Beyond Good & Evil and Zoids Legacy (for GBA).

For actual replays, Half Life 2.

For most time spend doing replays, Morrowind. I haven't actually replayed it many times since it takes so long to play through, but I always have a game in progress.

Had the game three years and still haven't visited every cell in the game.
