Modern Warfare 2. Call Of Duty 4 was FPS gold but MW2 was just made for the noobs. I mean, a full auto shotgun as a secondary weapon? Increased knife range (makinng the weaker shottys pointless anyway)? UNLIMITED GRENADE LAUNCHER AMMO (One Man Army perk).
And I hate the way that most of my fellow COD4 players now say "COD4 sucks dick". When they adored it for 2 years.

For a kid like me in those days, Xbox Live was not an option. Plus, the multiplayer didn't feel as tight and crisp as the first one. It just didn't have the feel or that sense of size or scale that the first one had. It suffered from that "it's not a defect, it's a feature" mentality that the developers and all the sheep fanboys egged on.

CoD has gone downhill
Sonic: He went down the hill really fast, and he doesn't have the speed to go back up
Lego games: seem to be the same with only a different skin
Crash: Just die already!

Dynasty Warriors has been on life support lately, that may change if DW6:XL is any good (if it actually gets released/developed) but given that DW6 and DW6:Strikeforce were royal flops, I don't imagine we'll be seeing DW7 anytime soon, Koei may also call it quits with Samurai Warriors 3

OT: I have no idea, I think all game franchises are fine seeing how there still are people who enjoye the games in that franchise.
But, just for the sake of discussion, Sonic. Unleashed wasn't very good to say the least.
Final Fantasy. All the talent from square went to mistwalker. This is clearly evidenced by the declining quality of ff games since IX. Lost Odyssey is the new ff. Sorry ff but you need to be put down.
Hmmmm... Guitar Hero/Rock Band, for being a gimmicky fad, maybe Final Fantasy because it's pretensious (I know that's wrong, it's one of those words I can never spell properly, like nesceerlererwfj. And this is coming from someone that loves MGS).
but really I'm not too bothered about the rest. MW2 is a very good game, spoiled by the online users, but I love it due to the splitscreen (they actually listened to people, so you get custom classes offline). It certaintly doesn't deserve to die; it's a hell of a lot better than many, many games that are still considered good.

I couldn't agree more. I couldn't finish the first Fable. I can't stand Fable at all. It's... just a bunch on MEHH. Other games I think need to die are Sonic, Tomb Raider, COD, GTA, Halo, Mario Party, casual games, Wii sports anything, movie games, Pokemon, music games, and well Aion.UnwishedGunz said:

I choose to do the smarter thing and just not buy shitty games. Saves me money, saves me the time and energy I would have spent ranting about them, and it makes me feel better when a friend says "Oh god dude...Why did I preorder that new *Insert Bland but Pretty FPS* game...I'm retarded."
