Oddly enough, it was Dungeon Siege, because I got through the whole thing without cheating OR dying even once. I guess memorizing when & where all the monsters pop out from is "sorta" cheating....

Final Fantasy VII.

I can remember beating the last Sephiroth so vividly after trying a million times, only to break into complete despair to find out I was now pitched 1-on-1 with the human version.

Then nothing happened. and nothing happened some more. And then the godsent: OMNISLASH!

Executing Sephiroth like that was probably the most exciting gaming moment of my life :)

(Really if this was a spoiler for you, I'm sorry, but face it, if you haven't finished it by now, you never will ;))

The first Knights of the Old Republic game. Not because it's overly hard or anything, which it isn't, but because it's amazingly well made and the characters are interesting. DA:O was pretty good too.

Completing resident evil 3 in japanese with my childhood friend. Considering we don't speak a single word of japanese it was quite feat for us when we were..

GTA IV, mainly because of how long it took me to complete it. I started plating then got stuck on the mission where you have to go into the abandoned hospital to get the drugs back. After trying for about 2 weeks I got fed up and traded it in, then a few months later I saw it going cheap so I picked it up again and picked up where I left off. Seeing that I only play for a few hours a day it took me about 2 months to finish the rest of it.
Saying that, the ending was a little under whelming with the bike/helicopter "chase" followed by a few gun shots, I was expecting a long drawn out conclusion.

I'm not the best at completing games (usually I get side tracked with another one)but two stick out:

Metal Gear Solid 4. I really liked that game, and once I got through the hour or so of ending cutscenes and false endings I felt a feeling of relief. Mainly because I had to go to work, and the damn thing JUST WOULDN'T END. Still good though.

Superman Returns. It felt like I deserved a medal for finishing that bland piece of crap (why I completed it is beyond me). I would have thrown it off a high building, but it wouldn't have done it any damage due to the sheer amount of padding.

Modern Warfare 2 on veteran was tough.
MW2 was easy compared to CoD 4 & 5. But it did feel good to have finished CoD 4,5 and 6 on verteran.

It's never a good feeling finishing a game you really like, but the first game I felt some accomplishment finishing was Super Mario Bros.

It took me more than a decade to finally finish it. It's hard to concentrate when you have a hot babysitter watching you play with your games.

Pretty much all games... except for collecting all 150 pokemon in the red version and getting a cert, I felt cheated.

Final Fantasy 10, no game comes anywhere near it in terms of story and satisfaction.
Except VII and XII, which had better stories. Well, better WRITING at least. But yes X was awesome. I'm running through it again trying to fill th whole sphere grid for every character.

Anyway, for feeling of accomplishment, Halo 2 on Legendary. I am not very good at Halo (although, oddly, Tartarus is way easier for me on legendary than other difficulty levels...) Runner up: The Bard's Tale on PC

One I was most pleased with when I finished... Metal Gear Solid series. They all just end so magnificently.
Oh god. FFXII was painful to play.

Anyway, the first time I beat Baldur's Gate 1, to be honest. It took ages and was fun right through to the end.

COD4 on Veteran.

I've never been so happy to see an achievement pop up as I was for 'Mile High Club'

Other than that... Mass Effect because of the final hour and its sheer awesomeness.

Time Crisis 3 was a pretty big achievement for me especially because if you lost you had to start all over again (this is the ps2 version)

Okami differently...it may have took me a month to beat(one hour a day) but it was well worth it
