I feel so deprived. I had parents who didn't let me play veedya gaems growing up, so anything that I like, I'm only recently getting into.

I am doomed to eternal noobhood, MOTHER.

The only game I say that I've consistently followed, beginning from the very first title, it has to be the FIFA series. They had their ups and downs, and EA is very hesitent to fix sum of the passing bugs that have plagued their games since day one, but overall, they are the best football game series available.

Assassin's Creed (main games at least) and Uncharted. and once the sequel comes out, the Batman game series that started with Arkham Asylum. I love all those games, minor issues aside.

I would follow the Jak and Daxter series to the end of the earth! I'm even considering buying the 'film' which is just a compilation of cutscenes :)

I tried to follow Spyro from PS1 to PS2 but I HATED the new gameplay and everything!

Edit: but on PS3 I only really follow Bioshock :) and bioware in general :)

Half-Life series and its spin-offs, consistently setting new benchmarks for other FPS to follow.

Diablo. Only two games so far, but both are great, and considering Blizzards penchant for polish in their games, so will the third game be.

Sonic The Hedgehog. Although the 3D games suck balls, the 2D platformers have remained at the very least decent. Currently I am eagerly awaiting Sonic 4 and to a lesser extent Sonic Colors on DS.

Other series I have followed with less consistency:
Final Fantasy
Unreal
Doom
Quake
Starcraft
Prince Of Persia
Metal Gear Solid
Command & Conquer

Jak and Daxter, all games except X and Lost Frontier were good, still getting everything labeled Jak and Daxter because some day, it'll be good again.

Battlefield Bad Company, and I followed Ratchet and Clank since the beginning for the first three games.
Also Assassin's Creed, Star Wars TFU, Harry Potter, and Pokemon.

Kirby, Pokemon, Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty.

Call of Duty is more or lessed ruined for me, but Medal of Honor might have a chance. Come on Epic music!

Pokemon. I've owned every single main series game, up until Platinum came out. I don't own Platinum or SoulSilver, but that will change soon.
I've also followed the Super Smash Bros. series. Unfortunately, being 15, most good series that I love now started while I was still a child (Metal Gear Solid, for example) and I haven't followed them from when they first appeared, but I guess it counts that I own them from the beginning, right?

Halo, anything from BioWare (never played Jade Empire though...should fix this one day), and Fable. That's right, Fable.

I've played and loved all of the Fallout games (that doesn't include the spinoffs like Tactics and BoS, I mean the real ones). The first one was just unlike anything else - at the time, it was THE definitive post-apocalypse game. The huge world where you had pretty much complete freedom was great. Fallout 2 was more of the same, but in the best way - it gave us even more stuff to do, however we wanted to. And then 3 brought the real innovation, bringing the world of Fallout into first-person 3D.

I've also played both of the Mass Effect games, and definitely plan on playing the third. The first game introduced a rich sci-fi setting with tons of interesting background info. The 3rd-person shooter combat wasn't perfect, but it was still fun. The sequel polished and streamlined the combat to near-perfection, and the story maintained the high standards of the original, while introducing some of the best characters in any game. Now I can hardly wait to get my hands on ME3.
