When was the last time you played a HALO game?TEMHOTA said:HALO, please, no more of that trash, and Halo can take Gears of War while it swirls round the bowl.
Are you serious? The new PoP was absolutely awful... I even wrote a review to prove it!believer258 said:Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Stop making this one and finish the cel-shaded awesome one that you left on a cliffhanger. There was an expansion pack and a DS game I didn't care about, but the cel-shaded one was pretty awesome and I would like to see its full blown sequel, not another Sands of Time-related cash in. I know one hasn't been announced since the Forgotten Sands, but still...
As you said, you only skim read my review. I think if you take a proper look I have most of your points covered.believer258 said:Well, excuuuuuuse me for enjoying a great game. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the cel-shaded prince, and (HOLY SHIT!) enjoyed the cel-shaded wall-running magic-induced antics of the new Prince over the whiny rewind-time antics of the old one. Also, I only skimmed your review but you say there is very little plot in the game. One of the main mechanics of the game is the ability to talk to Elika anytime, and maybe if you'd tried you'd know there was a fairly good plot to it, though nothing award worthy.Mandalore_15 said:Are you serious? Also, the big shit over Elika rescuing you right before death? Yeah, that's essentially unlimited lives and 5-minute checkpoints which is a feature of every major game this whole generation, and was in many, many games before that. They built in an explanation for his reincarnations and OMG THIS GAME IS SO EASY! was all of a sudden a complaint.
(but I must agree with combat, it was ok at first but then got dry and boring. Luckily it didn't happen enough to bother me.)
This is precisely the answer I would have given. You said it best, so I don't need to repeat it.Arqus_Zed said:COD, Medal Of Honor, Battlefield, etc. Not ALL of them, but there are just too many 'modern warfare' shooters these days, most of them sprung forth from long running series. Time to weed out a few.
