i think that they should either do a proper squeal to chrono trigger or just do a really awesome remake and make millions... just so long as it's good if its not then i will do the logical canadian thing and send in a letter stating how angry i am

Firstly, I would bring forth the Eternal Darkness sequel that was teased in the game!
Also I would bring back Streets of Rage! Not as a ful 3D game but more like an XBLA title!

I'd also bring back the old racers from the 80s & 90s! the ones that people remember because they each had their own personality & stuck out from the racing sims we get nowadays, such as Galaxy 5000 for the NES, R.C. Pro Am, Street Racer etc.

Also the much needed sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day! If only Rare still had their magic!

*Edit: Cannon Fodder! Those games were awesome! Last one I played was for the Game Boy Colour! It could easily be an arcade title!

I forgot to mention it earlier... but I'd kinda also like No One Lives Forever to make a comeback.

I really liked that game a lot back in the day.

Dino Crisis. I absolutely loved the first two games but never played the third one but I heard it was set in space, was crap and basically it's not Dino Crisis without Regina.

Mother, or Earthboud for you non-nerds, and Contra. Maybe a legitimate Super Mario RPG sequel. Paper Mario and TYD were great, but I need a direct sequel.

EARTHBOUND.

But no, Nintendo's too worried about legal issues and such to ever give Mother 3 a proper release in the States.

yeah, its a sad story. one of my favorite games on the gamecube. never beat it either, i just got to the penultimate boss fight then got stuck, sold it (in one of my most regretted moves yet), and haven't played since. but oh my gawd was the time i spent playing fun.

also, wikipedia says the studio got bought by blizzard. any other sources to confirm this? because i would not be surprised, though it seems odd blizzard would do something like that, being as there was basically no competition since blizzard games were all rpgs or strategy games (or a combination of the 2).
Actually, they were brought on by Blizzard at a time when Blizzard were considering expanding their base of games. They were developing a new, more action-focused game with one of their preexisting IPs, and they bought out Swingin' Ape exclusively so they could work on it.

That game was Starcraft: Ghost.

Yeah.

The Koei strategy games...
Genghis Khan series
Nobungas Ambition
Liberty or Death
PTO
Aerobiz

I played the crap out of those growing up.. would also be great if someone picked up Tabula Rasa and reopened it up. I was just getting into it when they decided to shut it down.

Mother. 3 games wasn't enough.
Chrono. 1 game wasn't enough.

There's a MOTHER4 slowly being made by a group of fans, Cross didn't happen,
and that last one is still around, Namco just needs to make more of it, ffs.
Oh, you villainous catcher of typos, you!

I'd really like an official mother sequel, though.

Chrono Cross also leaves a lot of want and possibilities for a sequel. I mean in Cross they basically went from stable time loop to
multiverse lol

So they're at a point in the story where basically infinite games in the series can happen. And considering how many games Secret of Mana got, this deserves more. Come on, they have a rabid fanbase and have been demanding the games for years. Heck, Cross itself was a fanservice(well, in a way...). And it's not like the games sold terribly. Come on, they deserve more, badly. Really, they do. If anything, it might make up for the Chrono Break fiasco where they spit on the face of fans for making doing what Japan does all the time, making a doujin game of Chrono like EasyGameStation did with Threads of Fate.

Heck, at this point, they have years worth of folleys to make up for.

It only died recently, because the developer closed down, but I want another Blur game. I'm not a big fan of racing games, but that one really hit the sweet spot between realism and arcadey fun (the sweet spot is way over on the fun side for me).

The only thing I didn't like was that each of the tracks didn't really feel unique and special in their own way. It seemed basically impossible for anybody to have a "favourite track".

A sequel could fix that and retain the rest of the greatness.

Legacy of Kain.

No contest.
Hell yeah! LOK: Defiance was NOT a proper way to end the franchise. So much untapped potential left.

OP: I'd resurrect Syphon Filter on consoles.
I dunno, I never even played Syphon Filter but from what I saw in stores, I never really forgave them for releasing the last one they did on the PSX (SF 2? 3?). It was slow, clunky and looked like shit. It's entirely possible the story was awesome, tho.

And yeah, Defiance's end was a bit of a letdown after all that. Or rather, a pretty good end if you don't mind assuming they'll make another one.

In any case, I think the next one should be about Lieutenant Raziel, in Kain's army (this has been my opinion for about 10 years).
