Well in Pokemon there is no war, violence, hatred, economy, polotics or crime (other than stupid schemes to take your Pokemon). Also, you are pretty much assured to meet a hot girl and go on a childish adventure with her

Well you're right about that, I don't know what he was all about, but the creator of the game said in an interview that he was aiming for a world like the one I described above, almost word for word.
