Discworld (Point + click adventure game for Windows 95)

I played it when I was very young, so I wasn't very good at it. I think that if I played it now I'd be able to complete it.

all had epic qualities, such as the story in the 1st two and the pure openedness of the last.

Probably Chrono Trigger... hell it still FEELS amazingly fresh every time I replay it.

Deus ex I bought the game played for a little while played multiplayer on it and lit people on fire randomly... got bored never did finish it... but when i look back at it it was one awesome game with it's story and advancement system...
