Super Mario 64. It is probably my favorite game, and to play through all the unique levels with fresh eyes would be totally awesome.

Bioshock, as I had spoiled it for myself earlier, and Red Alert. I started playing it when my older brother was a teenager, and he's already been through college. I didn't think I was even in school yet, and was already getting my ass kicked by the virtue of not understanding the concept of strategy. I've also lost the disk, so... yeah.

Definitely BioShock and MGS2. Both were completely unique bizarre and fun experiences that I have absolutely no desire to play again.

Hitman:Blood Money. I loved that game and still do. I would love to forget having played it so that I can work my way through the whole experience again.

Doom 2 and maybe HL1 & 2, the joys of discovering the Double barreled shotgun for the first time, the wonders of that first ride into Black Mesa and the wonders of physics relived all over again would be great.....

I'd love to go back and play the original Super Mario Bros. again, but if that was the only game I had fresh eyes for, and not all games that followed, I would probably not give it the time it deserves.

So I'll say Resident Evil 4. Easily my favorite game of all time.

Mass Effect. I love new rpg's because the story is fresh and it's nice having little suprises thrown at me, it also makes the game seem much longer and worth it. But replaying role playing games rarely has the same gusto it usualy does.

Final Fantasy VII! When I played it first I had been told that Aerith died. Wish I hadn't known and felt the true emotion of that scene! I would have wailed instead of just getting choked up!
I had that moment ruined for me as well, I hadn't even gotten out of the temple of the ancients, I couldn't work up the motivation after that knowing what was ahead. I mean cripes, people, keep it to yourselves and let us have our moments....

Without a doubt, Shadow of the Colossus.

The first time you see some of the Colossi is just breath taking. Not to mention having to figure out how to climb up them/how to beat them. Add all that with one of the most emotional endings to a video game that I have ever experienced. I have actually thought before "I wish I could forget this game so I could play it completely from scratch".

I like the mentions of Dead Space. That game has not gotten the attention it deserves in my opinion. Not quite on the level of SotC, but I have not seen a game that can compete with it on its level of emersion. Every tiny detail they had in that game was meant to pull you into the atmosphere they created. From no HUD, to no air, to no sound in space (I freakin' loved that), to the amazing graphics, to the excelent sound design. I do wish Issac spoke, I think the silent hero era is over.

Same here, I had played MGS years ago, and then recently beat MGS4, so now I'm trying to go back and play through the rest.

Without a doubt, Shadow of the Colossus. It is easily the most beautiful game I have ever played and I would love to go back and experience it for the first time, again. I found myself riding Agro around the countryside for hours just looking at the scenery. My favorite spot was a cliff overlooking a lake and waterfalls below. Simply amazing.

Edit: I see someone above me shares my sentiment.

ff8, kotor 1 and 2, neverwinter nights, doom

id say ff7 if it wasnt such a rubbish game. i always got bored of it by the time i hit the second generator (and yes, i never got past that bit)

i only add doom cuz its a freaking hard game if you dont know what to do, but after you run through it once, it becomes a lot easier

Final Fantasy VII!! It's the first RPG that I had ever played. I'd love to be able to experience just how massive the world felt the first time you entered the world map (the only game to come close for me since was the first time you step out of the sewers in Oblivion) and heard the overworld them for the first time. They shock when Aeris was killed and you could not bring her back, not matter what you tried in the game. The heart pounding finale when you fought Sephiroth as the One-Winged Angel. Then when you thought it was all over - BAM! - you're hurtled into a one on one confrontation with him! Man. That game was such a rush.

I love adventure games, but once you've finished one you can't really replay them so my vote goes to all adventure games. If I had to pick one single game I think I'd pick Grim Fandango.
