Shadow of the Colossus. I remember the first time I played it it was a demo on a disc from some magazine I picked up. I had no idea about the game but I decided to give it a shot. It was like, OK I'm on a horse, i have to find something, Climb a mountain, this is decent and the graphics are nice. then that first colossus walked out and I was like Hooolllyy Shit!! I have to kill that thing. Climbing the Colossus and killing it for the first time was one of the biggest rushes I've ever gotten from gaming. I must have played that demo 10 or 12 times and I went and bought the game the day it came out. Still one of my favorites.

Killer7. When I first played it, it gave me a feeling of wonder, amazement and utter (in a good kind of way) confusion. Now I have played it countless times, that feeling has diminished somewhat.

Not too surprising but:

-Portal (It was so delicious and moist And I'm making a note: huge success)

-Psychonauts (Now that one just plain funny)

-Bully Scholarship Edition ([For the Wii] A couple missions were really fun in that game)

Jet Force Gemini, it was an N64 title I had when I was younger. I didn't like it because I couldn't reach an objective at one point for some reason and stopped playing. I'm sure if I were to play it now I would be able to get through. Sad thing was I had loved the game up to that point.

Strange as it seems for someone who has come to loathe JRPGs, I'd say Final Fantasy VI. Most, if not all, of the other games in my current collection are the sorts of games where I wouldn't want to have to figure out their learning curves again---my trade sims in particular are pretty unforgiving for new players and I wouldn't want to have to re-learn them.

Kingdom Hearts. I would play them in order instead of KH2 followed by KH1. Wish I could play them without knowing what was about to happen.

Also, FFVIII. Except I would want to know everything about the junctioning because not knowing my first time through made the final boss so difficult until I knew what to do lol.

I loved discovering every new thing in that game but now I already know everything. I want to play it a third time, but knowing that I have to go through all that drawing magic just keeps me away.

I'd have to say Starfox 64. I actually remember what it was like when I had fresh eyes for it the first time. Wonderful, WONDERFUL feeling, it was.

Super Mario Bros. 3. I was an extremely strong-willed eight year old and couldn't appreciate the ball-crushing difficulty of the game. (I was just plastered to my gameboy for almost four months straight)

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The first time I played it I was too young to really grasp the game and the controls so I figured out a few tricks then I would use my brother's file to play with all the cool items he had gotten. I would like the chance to play it again now that I have the cognitive abilities to do it correctly.

Goldeneye! The first time we played it, my friends and I sat down, fired it up, and played an entire round of multiplayer in absolute silence. When it ended, we all just started laughing about how unbelievable it was. In my mind, that game is 100% good times.
That game is absolute gold. I was sitting around with a bunch of gamers once and someone asked us what the classic FPS was. We all said Goldeneye. I would have to say that it's a close second on my list.

KOTOR

Amazing experience
This man speaks the truth. Tis' my favorite.

Also, I remember how amazing Call Of Duty 4 was on launch day. It would be great to still be able to enjoy it at all.

Okami, definitely. Clover combined gorgeous, lively artwork, invigorating music, and a captivating storyline to create a masterpiece that could bring tears to even the most stony-faced gamers around.

Probably Half-Life 1. I was about 10 when I played it all the way through, and I had just discovered online walkthroughs. The game was so scary at the time that I constantly used walkthroughs to figure out what would be around the next corner. I never stopped to think that the game would be better if I didn't spoil everything ahead of time (I still enjoyed the hell out of it though).

I would love to be able to forget the whole Myst series so I could play them all fresh again. Those were so fun, figuring out the first (and second) time. After the fifteenth playthrough, it kinda loses its pizazz.

Also, I kind of wish I could redo Fallout 3 from scratch.

I think Zero Punctuation should do a segment on Destroy all humans path of the furon, purely because the fact that its so bad and glitchy that they could insult it so much that it's cherry would be popped lol.

What ya think guys?

hahahaha lol same here, i know this is gonna sound silly but i thought the game was too short,

i think if they make a Fable 3 they should make it multi-disced like Blue dragon and lost odyssey.

Final Fantasy VII. Rushed through it the first time, this time I'm taking my time, making some tactics and collecting the bonus items that I missed out on. But since I have a basic memory of what happened, nothing comes as a surprise. And the weird thing is that I didn't remember the fine details that I love about the game. It's like reading a summary of a great book before reading the real thing.
