What game would you want to play again for the first time?

For me definitely both Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask, as I was young when I first played them and required a guide. I would certainly like to experience them without prior knowledge of everything. Also Bioshock and Portal without having had the endings spoiled.

Super Metriod would be fun to relearn
FF4/5/6 cause the SNES FF games where the best :p
Valkyrie Profile
Parasite Eve
Soul Raever1/2/LoK Defiance
Shadow Hearts 1/2/3 (yes, I liked 3, yes, I'm aware 2 was better, doesn't mean i didn't have fun with 3)
SMT:Nocturne/DDS1&2
ZEO1&2

>.> I think I'll stop there, you all get the point I assume

LOTRO would be nice to erase all memories of.
Played it almost daily for over two years and first bought it when it was fairly new. Back then the graphics blew me away(I was used to WoW at the time) and everything felt so epic.

Leveling alts are still a blast, but I got all but one class through Moria(level 60) with plenty at or near the current cap of 85. Was more of an adventure when you didn't know what was gonna come next.

WoW would be my second choice. It was my first MMO and everything about it was absoluteley awe striking to me. Though it would have to like it was before any of the expansions. Disliked the game more with every new one that came. LOTRO suffers a bit from that as well. :(

mass effect 3.. i think i might still have the interest in the series if the first time i played it through had the extended cut at the end. not to mention not being left with that initial feeling of i either did something really wrong or the game was bugged the ending was so confused. i actually logged on to the forums when i finished it to see how to fix the ending bug i was getting and found out.. its not a bug :-|
This.

I remember liking the game while I was playing it, maybe loving, I don't know. I think I'd have a shot with the new ending, i just need to get rid of that month or two that gave me time to hear every analysis on how bad everything about it was and have no logical defense for any of its narrative or gameplay choices. I was thinking of giving it a fresh playthrough but knowing all the character dialogue would likely just frustrate me and make me impatient, not make me remember why I loved them the second time I hear everything they say.

Maybe in several years It'll be faint enough I can get away with going back and trying to find Mass Effect in it again.

probably Bioshock or System Shock 2 (see a pattern here?) Or hell, even Castlevania Lords of Shadow so I could rewatch the ending when I beat it again and cry and throw something at the TV at the same time.

Final Fantasy 6 (I always think of it as 3, though).
Chrono Trigger.
Persona 4.

Can't really think of anything else. I'm the sort of person that really enjoys stuff when approaching it the second or third time. It just makes me sad that I can beat the first two in under 20 hours or so since I've played through them so often, and for the last, it's just hard to go through the game when I already know most of what they're gonna say. I miss being surprised.

Knights of the Old Republic, definitely. It was the first plot twist that ever threw me through a dizzy loop wondering what the hell just happened.

Bioshock, mass effect series and dragon age. If i picked anything old that i enjoyed in the past i would probably drop it now without playing, a lot of these games didn't age all that well.

Gothic series maybe. My favorite RPGs but I've played them too much to play them again.

I can't decide on just one... so in no particular order...

1. System Shock 2
2. Deus Ex
3. Mass Effect (trilogy)
4. The Walking Dead (Season 1)
5. Fallout (main series; 1, 2, & New Vegas)
6. Valkyria Chronicles
7. Earthbound
8. Homeworld (1 & 2)
9. Resident Evil (0 through Code Veronica)
10. World of WarCraft ( <-/sigh. I do miss vanilla through Wrath quite a bit)

There are few hells I would not go through to re-experience Fate/Stay Night for the first time. Especially now that I'm not an emotional zombie anymore. I'd have to go reenter hell again with Heaven's Feel, but worth it.

Easily Skyrim, or even Fallout 3.

I wish I had a "forget me" button that allowed me to restart the game and experience everything for the first time.
hell yeah! i would pay a good bit to do that. especially if you could erase trailers and the like so you can walk into it completely blind save for some controls. could you imagine? playing fallout, going through the tutorial, and then having that huge event come out of NOWHERE?

and to top it off, when you walk outside for the first time, and you have honestly NEVER seen the capitol wasteland except for that intro cinematic? that would be AMAZING to do again!

Another notable one, mass effect 1.

And dragon Age Origins.

And company of heroes (the original, no expansions).

Really there are a bunch of em, but i cant remember too many off the top of my head.

ROME TOTAL WAR! thats another. so i could still have my youthful infatuation with the scipii and not realize how the seleucids are just so much better.

Hell, i think i would love it if i could play space marine knowing absolutely nothing about 40k beforehand, so the chaos involvement twist would actually be a twist, and not par for the course.

Bioshock, Dishonored and the Monkey Island series. I played MI with my granddad growing up, so he showed me how to do a lot of the puzzles. If I could somehow experience the puzzles and the humor again for the first time but without losing the memory of playing it with him, I'd be very happy.

Warcraft 3.

It was my first game that I literally sank my teeth into. I played a bit of other stuff as a kid before then, namely SC Diablo 1 and a bunch of old SEGA Genesis junk that everyone knows about, but none of them just held me like that one did. I still get goosebumps when I watch some of the cinematics.

Maybe I'm lame or something, but I haven't ever had quite as much fun as with that. WoW would probably be my close second, assuming we start at vanilla again and skip Cata when it comes to it.

As far as other stuff goes - SC2 if I was a bit younger and more impressionable, Portal if I wanted to look at games differently again, Bioshock if I wanted to look at game story differently again, and Amnesia, because the first time for that game is always the best time.
