What games do you always return to for nostalgic purposes?

I always return to old games, recently i re-ran monkey island and the lure of the temptress but for some reason i always want to return to Final Fantasy 7. And this isn't an "OMG FF7 BEST GAEM EVUUUR" type of rant. It's just where i go, then i load it up and eventually get to the map and get cheesed off with all the running around.
Seems nostalgia is impossible to recreate.
But do you try?
What is your go to game?

I've played through it so many times, I know every spawn, every secret, every "scare" and yet I always find myself going back every few months.

As for me it would probably be the original Sonics, although I've played them so much they've pretty much gone full circle into my current games again...

X-Com(The up and coming X-Com is not an X-Com game. Its just a bunch of douchebags who have no respect for their sourcematerial and are just exploiting an old titles name.) and Suikoden 2 (Love it, really hard to get yer hands on a real copy though. I got a copy for like 110$.)

Baldurs Gate 2 and Half-life. I have lost count of how many times I have played these.

GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas. Those GTA games are all just fun. Others would be all the Half-Life games. Deus Ex and a few others.

Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars, for it's great gameplay. This isn't just nostalgia speaking, it's just a damn good game. I just happen to be nostalgic about it.

I, like you, am a sucker for a good ol' fashioned FF7 run through, although I do tend to rotate my nostalgic Final Fantasies, with 6, 9 and 10 being firm favourites.

The game I play that tends to have that "impossible to recreate previous enjoyment" factor for me though is Oblivion.
I frequently think "oooh, I think I'll play through Oblivion again", but by the time I've committed a few robberies, I've had my tits full.

Many old emulated arcade games will do the trick too.

Nowadays Tenchu seems to fit, and Final Fantasy Tactics. FF7 was nice, but I never really found a reason to go back once I got the soundtrack for it.
