Rhythm games. I'm so bad at Guitar Hero and Rock Band that it isn't even funny.

Shooters, I guess. The thing is, on the one hand, I don't think I'm that bad. I completed Halo: Reach on Legendary (solo) and skipped no enemies, with only a couple of exceptions. I did Crysis on Delta. I did HL2 on hard.

Yet when I go online, I just get wtfpwnt most of the time. In the case of Halo, sometimes I have good games, often I have bad games, and while my KDR is currently above 1.0 (but trending downwards), I still feel basically bad at it. Most games are composed of heading round a corner only to get spammed with 2,000,000 grenades and a rain of melee hits. Every game seems to have someone who's just so stupidly good it makes me want to give up.

I'm competent at Starcraft, but it bored me so badly that I barely played it past the "Tangling with a hard AI" phase. I guess that counts, because the average learned human player could probably eat me for breakfast.

As an aside, I'm somethig of an ace at Devil May Cry--right until you ratchet it up to DMD. Then it becomes physically improbable that you'll beat it, no matter who you are. The same goes for GoW.

Fighting games like Street Fighter, KOF and Tekken. I just can't get into practising to pull of big moves by pressing up, down, up, right, left, A, ect.

Don't get me wrong though, I reckon the games are awesome!

Racing games. I just can't figure them out. Especially, the 'walls come at you fast' part. If you add weapons in to the mix I'm doomed to always get last place.
BRAKE

I'm bad at every game except Gran Turismo, Timesplitters and Spyro 2. I'm especially good at Rock Band on drums, since I'm a drummer and expert mode is just the real drum part transposed to 4 pads and a pedal. All other instruments, I'm okay at I guess.

Strategy games, fighting games, and racing games. I also cannot play chess. I think my problem with most strategy games is that I find them a little boring and tedious, but that's just an excuse because I also suck at them.

Any game that's not a platformer, FPS, 3rd person shooter, Skateboarding game, rhythm game, or racing game.

First Person Shooters... Well... maybe I don't "suck" at them so much as that I don't like them so I've never really put a lot of hours into practicing them. Which, sadly, means that whenever I DO try to go online and play them I get owned by snotty little 14 year olds who cuss so much they make sailors blush. Which immediately bounces me back into playing games of any other genre.

Fighting games and music/rhythm games. I suck at the former as I just button mash and have absolutely no interest in learning combo's etc. I never liked memory games. Especially not $100 ones with no story.

And music & rhythm games I just plain old suck at. As I mentioned I hate memorising shit for games an therefore I play it by eye. And for some reason I just really cannot get anywhere. I can hit some notes but make it more than easy and I'm up shit creek without a canoe.

I also tend to suck at PC shooters... I was playing MOH beta today and boy was I awful! I am much better at console shooters. I'm far more used to them, and anyway I don't play online much thanks to slow and capped wireless shiternet. Yeah, I live in Australia. It could just be that everyone on there were CoD veterens though which wouldn't surprise me.

Most rts games I just get really annoyed when i've spent a while building an army and base just for my enemy to destroy it...then i have to rebuild it all again!! (i know that is the whole point of the game to destroy the enemies base and faction but it gets tedious...especially if you suck at it)

I'm not absolutely horrid at fighting games, but that's probably the only genre I'm significantly worse at. But I'm working on it! Or, at the very least, attempting to work on it.

Finally started playing my copy of Tekken 6, and plan on buying Super Street Fighter IV. I also own Blazblue and Guilty Gear. I s'pose we'll see what happens... *fingers crossed*

Hooray, I'm not the only one! Imagine my... joy... when racing sections are forced on you in Jump & Runs (evil stare at 1st Sly Cooper game). Needless to say I'm absolutely lost when it comes to games like GTA. Forced myself to train a bit in Saint's Row 1+2 because everything else in there is pure fun.

Also: Multiplayer. No more specifics needed.
