Call of Duty 4.
I'm so much better at Halo it isn't even funny.
I'm the opposite, I'm pretty good at Call of Duty but can't play Halo to save my life no matter how hard I try

Stealth games.

I think it was a Splinter Cell game I was playing with a friend that was the most memorable. I was playing co-op, and my friend came up with a very nice plan for sneaking into the building.

Me? I'm one of those "Why just sneak past the guard when I can kill him and stash the body, thus removing a dangerous problem?" type of players. I also like to cram as many corpses as I can into equipment lockers.

My friend walks up to my character, remarking about a surprising lack of guards as he was making his way into the perimeter. About this time, I'm popping open a locker to cram another corpse inside.

I guess I had the timing all wrong, because about 2 dozen corpses cascade to the floor, making a hell of a mess.

My friend won't play that game with me anymore.

Any sports game. It just doesn't make sense, I'd rather go out and play the sport myself.

Terrible at Bullet Hell games. I can do well for about ten or so waves but eventually when things are coming out left, right, top and bottom there is just no chance I can predict the moment of five billion pellets in every direction.

Funny enough I can do awesome at an RTS so I can handle multiple enemies and fronts and abilities at the same time. But there is just to much forward thought for bullet hells. I live in the moment.

Starcraft.

I simply cannot play that game well. Other RTS games I can generally do pretty well in, but... It just cannot be done for me with Starcraft. I've tried reading/watching strategies, but it just, it just, doesn't work. :(

But that's ok because I don't really like Starcraft anyway

Any sports game. Doesn't matter the type of sport: American Football, actual football, tennis, golf... I simply suck at them (or perhaps they just don't grab me enough for me to really care).

Fighting games.....
I'm ok with the likes of fight night but when it comes to tekken or street fighter I get destroyed!
Even my girlfriend who deosn't even play games destroys me! haha

I usually start out button bashing but fail miserably then move on to actually practising and learning combos but still fail miserably!

The disc soon gets frisbeed out the window, never to be seen again

most stealth-games (e.g.: dark project/thief; hitman)
in games, i'm just not able to be subtle.
must... bash... everything... cannot... hold back

what really pisses me off, because i actually would like to play those games as they are intended - i do like sneaky guys ("heroes", if you will; or protagonists. you know what i mean), i really do

Guitar Hero. (I have terrible hand-eye co-ordination on that damned guitar)
Sports games.

..That is about it.

Anything that involves shooting at anything else. My friends keep trying to get me into FPS's, but I'm bad at them and I just generally don't particularly like them as a whole (I make an exception for the original Halo and Metroid, but I'm pretty bad at those anyway.) I'm also really, really bad at Red Dead Redemption. You know that horse race with Bonnie? The second mission in the entire goddamn game? Took me an hour of riding my horse off cliffs, into ravines and just generally getting lost to finish that.

Need For Speed games.

You cannot tell me that these cars, which steer like bathtubs, are the pinnacle of physics-to-games operation. Not when, rather ironically, the bathtub in a Twisted Metal game (Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck) maneuvers easier.
The Need for Speed cars (except for possibly Shift/Pro Street as I never played those) all handle ridiculously well... like beyond what is physically possible. I'm confused.

The Pokemon games. I'm way too indecisive and I have no sense of strategy. Like when I run into a wild Pokemon that I don't already have I think "Should I fight it? But what if I run out of PP? Where's the nearest Pokemon Center? How about catching it? What ball should I use?"

However, I always keep an electric Pokemon handy for (dun dun DUUUUUUUUN!) ZUBAAAAAAT!

Guitar Hero and Rock Band, I can't get past medium on ANY of the games except for the first one.
This, exactly, except I haven't tried GH1. Medium seems to be my limit. As soon as I have to start moving my hand, it goes all stupid and I have no idea where it is or what buttons I'm hitting anymore. Which is a shame, because I love it so.

Also, real-time strategy and RPGs. I'll take Shining Force and Temple of Elemental Evil over Warcraft and Dragon Age any day. Maybe I just need to spent my next lump of experience points to increase my Wits rating.
