Except for story line. Making better-scripted, functionally identical sequels to other people's games is pretty much what Obsidian does. What's more, it's run by some of Fallout's old hands.

i'd laugh if those three end up being some of the best games of 2010

I seem to have it in my mind the HL2 Ep3 will be terrible.

It's just too much waiting, the pessimist in me is taking over.

Plus in my eyes:

-Halo:Reach = Bungie has been wanting to move on for a while now so yeah.
-Spinter Cell = getting tired of this mediocre stealth game.
-Army of Two = look kids another MW genre shooter with gimp masks...>>
-Mag = tried the demo which is so bland.
-Dark Void = Unfortunately, because I love the look.

Treyarch CoD 6. They are all just too similar so I think I will give this one a miss unless it is different in some massive way.
Bayonetta. It might do realy well but I have only realy heard of it recently but many people I know haven't. Also to me it doesn't look very appealing but that is just personal taste.

EDIT: I'm surprised a couple of people have mentioned SC: Conviction - I've seen almost nothing but high expectations from old fans of the series and genuine excitement. It's also made by Ubi Montreal who are:

a) Great developers

and

b) Responsible for SC1 and Chaos Theory (the best ones)

Since 1 and 3 are the best so far I feel physicists and mathematicians of all levels of merit will agree with me when I say that the 5th will be f*cking amazing as it is the 5th game, thereby continuing the unbreakable rule that has been set: every odd-numbered SC game must be brilliant.

I am a mathematician and an aerospace engineer (at least by degree if not by profession) and I am skeptical that the new system will work. Many of the things they are bragging about I do not like and hope there are options to turn off such as the silhouette of your last seen location. I have faith that they will not botch it up or i shall be very sad. I bought a 360 for this game back when it was supposed to come out at holiday 2007 and have been waiting 2 years for this.

What about Sonic Chronicles?

Well, the MMO industry has yet to make a game that didn't fail since WoW....=/

50/50 here...=/

Sure, not every MMO was as much of a raging success as WoW was(Well...none of them were actually), but I wouldn't classify them as failures.

Anyway, MAG, despite everything that makes it a pretty damn good game, is going to go unrecognized because people can't see past the graphics.

IDK, I don't trust a genre (mmos) that only has one game in the last 5 years dominate it the way it has.

If you ask me MMOs are an overambitious idea stuck with cliche gear grinding and fetch quests.

To me the more I read about it, the more it sounds like WoW clone reskined for a star wars setting.
