Katamari Damacy in the vein of a horror/disaster movie.
This is brilliant. I second this.
Yeah, this one crossed my mind, too.

I imagine the movie poster for it has a katamari with some icons of Japan: Cloud and Sephiroth, Gojira/Gozilla, part of the framework from the Sasuke (Ninja Warrior) course, an Evangelion and/or a Gundam, and so on.

I want a Viva Pinata movie Dammit!
Get Ed Norton to be Seedos and Natalie Portman to be Leafos!

Directed by Quentin Tarentino because he is the only man who can really bring to screen all the gore that smashing a pinata creates.
Epic win for you :D

As for me, I'd like to see a Crash/Spyro movie possibly, and somebody mentioned The Longest Journey as a mini-series. Nice ideas there :) but Half Life (2) would have to be the main one. Plus, am I the only person who actually liked the Resident Evil films?

None. Ever.

Experience has taught me better than to think otherwise.

Although assuming it would actually be a good movie, there's too many to list.
Seconded. We've had enough Uwe Boll.

'Kane & Lynch'. The story and characters fit perfectly on screen.

And 'Bully' could work when they stick to the plot of the game (and not make a teenage comedy abomination)

Deus Ex directed by Alex Proyas (Dark City).
Mirror's Edge directed by Tom Tykwer (Lola Rennt).
Psychonauts directed by Tim Burton (too many to mention).
The Legacy of Kain directed by Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth).
Grim Fandango by either Pixar or Dreamworks.
The Longest Journey and Dreamfall directed by Matthew Vaughn (Stardust)...

...erm, Burnout directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious)?

no no no, Micheal Bay would be the best director for mirrors edge, action parkour movie has "Micheal Bay" written all over it.

I would love to see a good Far Cry film. I would also like to see Ace Attorney but as a tv series (but not an anime). There are many others that would be good assuming Uwe Boll stayed far away from them.

Gears of War. I'd love that. I've heard rumours that it was happening.. any fact to that?
Wait, you mean GoW is a game?

It feels almost like a movie.

Assassin's Creed would make a fun movie.

Also, Half-Life 2 would make a kickass movie, but only if it was done properly. I'd want Valve to have direct influence on the screenplay and direction. And NOT have it directed by Tarantino, as the rumors suggest.

any of the half lifes done well would be immense
people have already done some short one on HL2
they're basically movies in games anyway, the way they play and the way that it's given to you.

Although, knowing directors, they'd turn Freeman into some sort of manly hero saying "I VILL SAVE YOU!" which would RUIN it...

I'll stick with "none of them" then

ALTHOUGH
If the book Eragon was done well and put into another film that actually stayed true to the film, it'd be awesome

I'm putting in another vote for Half-Life (as in the series in general, but HL2 would probably be better)

I'm basically of the opinion that Mirror's Edge has "Lola Rennt" written all over it - a good thing, since Lola Rennt is one of my favourite movies! It's not that they copied anything out of the movie (no parkour in it, just running), but I'm pretty sure they were inspired by it - the soundtrack style in particular is pretty close. :)
