Just for shits and giggles, I would love to see a Counter-Strike movie. You know, where a group of guys go to different maps (nuke, assault, dust, ital, etc.) and try to stop the terrorists from their evil doings. I just think that movie would kick ass (if done correctly).

Quite frankly, I think that movies being made into games is getting a little old. Time to flip it around :D

Come to think of it, Left 4 Dead would be very cool if the actual models for Bill, Zoey, Louis and Francis would star in it :D

Maybe assassins creed.

and mirrors edge, yeh I know the game wasn't that good but it had a great original idea, the corrupt government watching everything, the communications solution being traceur/traceuse messengers delivering their cargo with awesome parkour style, add some complications, a plot twist, awesome chase scenes and it would be a great movie.
I was actually thinking that something based along the lines of Mirror's Edge would make a good movie.
Also an Assassin's Creed film doesn't sound too bad actually.

I second Mirror's Edge. If they did though, they'd have to put in the man who started parkour in it somewhere (forgetting his name).

If Valve were interested in preserving their vision, or even expanding it then they would be wise to give to film makers like this. It could be the best video game to film adaption ever.

Mirror's Edge directed by Tom Tykwer (Lola Rennt).
no no no, Micheal Bay would be the best director for mirrors edge, action parkour movie has "Micheal Bay" written all over it.
I'm basically of the opinion that Mirror's Edge has "Lola Rennt" written all over it - a good thing, since Lola Rennt is one of my favourite movies! It's not that they copied anything out of the movie (no parkour in it, just running), but I'm pretty sure they were inspired by it - the soundtrack style in particular is pretty close. :)
I don't know who should direct it, but it should totally be a first-person movie...and be shown in IMAXs.

nothing should be made into anything, and especially movies should never be remade, ever!
Why not?
So rarely does it ever work that 99% of the time people are disappointed with the result. Not necessarily because it was bad, but because it wasn't done the way 'they' would have. Of course there are games that i'd like to see made into movies, but it's already built up so much...

Have you guys seen "Luc Besson´s Yamakasi", it´s like the "Taxi" movies, but if you want to see what a Mirror Edge movie may look like, it may interest you.
