Majin Buu. He would be not only a guard, but a friend and loyal companion. He could befriend my dog and turn enemies into chocolate.

A beholder from D&D. That'll teach those punks down the street.
take notes kids beholder wins
Not so, my good man. You seem to have forgotten the dreaded Tarrasque. The Mary-Sue of monsters. As long as it was well-trained.

...I'm pretty sure a tentacle monster has shown up somewhere in a videogame...

but then again that'll be kind of akward when visitors drop by...

hmm...

Head crabs from Half-Life that then latch onto the flood from Halo. Then the flood infect Sonic the Hedgehog and you have the perfect guard/death of your childhood.

Hunter, doesn't really matter from what game, hunters are usually a good fighter. Though my preference would be a pair of hunters from Halo

Shoot Halo hunter few times in the mid torso (orange spot(crit)) and it's dead. Not so good guard after all.

well, that can be said about most game enemies, besides they would be fine guards against anything short of a small army, or an agile halo player

Grunts from Halo. Enemies will fall to the ground laughing at their stupid antics. Atleast that's how I died the first time in Halo 1 on Easy... plus I could always entertain myself with their antics when I have free time!

OR Cthulu from the Call of Cthulu games. A creature that can take a large boat to the face only to say "Fuck the Midnight snack" and goes back into hibernation before he awakens and utterly destroyes all things in our existance... Think Sovereign from Mass Effect. The comparisons are obvious (Large Squid monster that destroys everything in its path for reasons no human could possibly comprehend)

Yeah, against ordinary everyday vandals and robbers.
Better than guard hounds, I agree.

Oh! Those Hands from Zelda! The blue ones that take you back to the beginning of the cave. Completely foolproof.
Now that is an excellent creature to have guard you, only problem would be if you had more visitors, then hands to take them away

if you want a big daddy, you would be best off with the first Big Daddy, the one you play in Bioshock 2, since he has guns, plasmids, and his drill
