What genre Gamer are you?

probably action adventure. I play a lot of shooters but I prefer ones that require tact or games that have really good stories. I prefer simpler game mechanics because I don't have a massive amount of time devoted to video games any more. the days of me sitting through a 100+ hour RPG aren't gone completely, just they're MUCH rarer nowadays.

Those're at least my favourites. I do enjoy fighting games every now and then but not over an extended period of time.

I tend to pick-and-nibble at the buffet of genres... Though I'm not into FPS titles due to the fact that if I can't see what's behind/beside me, I'll wind up walking right off a cliff. Or into spikes. Or the enemies' mouths... *Sighs*

Might be easier just to say what genres I don't like. Lets see, there's FPS, RTS and... that's about it.

Moreso than simply saying RPGs, I like games with RPG elements. Borderlands and Modern Warfare multiplayer's level up system spring to mind as shooters that I find acceptable, as generally I hate shooters. I like games that allow you to pick a style of play, then improve that style of play along with you. For instance, getting a gun, using said gun to get attachments, getting better with gun.

BUT, I will ALWAYS love fantasy and sci fi RPGs too. Good examples are Dragon Age and Diablo. Also, Mass Effect and KotOR as far as space games goes.

I'm a big fan of Third-Person games like GTA, Crackdown and Prototype..as well as sandbox games, it seems. >_> *Ahem* But I really shine at FPS. :3
