Well, "God is dead" I guess...(and we killed Him).
I live for music. I want to perform professionally one day before then teaching others music, but that I can say without a shred of doubt is what I am here for. To make music.
My fantastic girlfriend; with her, I really do feel emotionally complete, and that I'm making the most of my brief time as a largely anonymous organism on a desolate rock in space.

Achievement...I want to do something meaningful.
However, and I don't like to sound like a 12 year old, I've been facing disappointment and soul crushing failure so far. At some point you realize you aren't that smart, in fact you are quite dumb, then you realize your skills are inferior to so many people it's laughable and after that you see those who achieve what you are doing with seemingly no effort.
Still trying to do something though, optimism is the key I guess.

What gets me out of bed is the hope that I can have some fun today. My life's goal is to enjoy myself as much as I can in my lifetime, and help those I care about enjoy it too. If I'm not dong something necessary for survival (work, school, etc), then I am trying to have fun. Whether it's videogames, chatting with friends or cuddling with my special one...I'm trying to squeeze in as much happiness as possible.

The things that give meaning to my life are my girlfriend, writing, the few friends that I have, and my immediate family.

As well as me being extremely scared/perplexed by the thought of death, there's a lot of interesting things to be known, so I guess I'll always be wanting to learn as long as I live. (I love science)
