Actually Crytek bought the company and they said they want to resume production of it (well Free Radical did) by "it" I mean Timesplitters 4!Roflpotamus said:Definitely. Too many serious grimdark fps games at the moment, who the hell needs a good story when you have good characters, loads of weapons, tons of multiplayer maps and a map editor. It never took itself seriously, which is why I think it was such a fun game.Snotnarok said:"It's time to SPLIT!"Roflpotamus said:Its incredibly rare to find people that enjoyed that game outside of the people I used to play it with. Its the only series I have ever played where I've laughed out loud at some of the humour.Snotnarok said:A Timesplitters fan! That's rare, high five good sir. Almost no one I know, knows about the series, it's not a big game but it's simply amazing. No game makes fun of itself better than Timesplitters.
"Er... You go first"
"Ok"
It's one of my favorite shooters, infact THAT'S the game that really got me into multiplayer shooters at the time. It was amazing, heck I still would take Future Perfect over most of the newer shooters. What other game can you kill a dinosaur, fish robot, zombie, alien, '50s style future man, man made of matches and a hand in a deathmatch? None
Timesplitters freaking rules.
If it were released on XBLA with online multiplayer I'd start using my 360 again. In fact, a sequel would go down really well - its such a shame the first three did so poorly in sales, so that's doubtful.
Its funny I see a lot of people mentioning newer games, (Ex: Someguynamedky-Racing: Burnout 3, Scarecrow38: Oblivion totally got me into Role- playing games) and that's surprising to me. I used to think I got into gaming late because the genesis was my first system and people would give me a look like "THAT was your first system? Not the NES? But that's cool I didnt expect that
