Perhaps a little too morbid for this topic but I'll tell you none the less.
It was my 17th, 5 years ago. I was heavily pregnant and I was raped by my ex boyfriend.

I hate my birthday now.
Yikes. I honestly do not have a response for this. I only hope that you are doing well now and that better days are definitely ahead of you.

OT: Lets see...

Well, I can honestly say that I never had a worst birthday. There was just this one birthday of mine in which I wanted to invite my close friend and first love to a bonfire with our other friends only to learn from a family member that she had gotten pregnant and was marrying her current boyfriend.

So yeah, the first few months after that kind of sucked, but I got over it.

>be 7
>what the hell is with these kids and their phones they so cool
>ask parents for phone for birthday
>they say no
>birthday rolls around
>get bike/etc presents, okay then pretty cool
>bro comes up to me and gives me his old phone
>shit pants, get all excited
>try to turn on
>wont turn on
>bro tells me that it doesnt work
>uhhhh gets pretty hazy after that, not sure if tantrum or not

I think this might be why I hate the hell out of phones now.

I'll go with every birthday I can remember, during which my parents fight over monetary issues and my dad is pissed off he even has to get a present or spend time with his completely unappreciative son.

Or some really fat kid sitting on me.
Oh hey, we have the same birthday.

She ruined my entire day. No one remembered it was my birthday. :(

The only bad birthday I remember was when there was a major dance happening at my school on the same day as my birthday.

All my friends went to the dance.

I went to a burger joint with my dad...

I've never celebrated my birthday much, I did cook myself a nice birthday steak, which really just means a nice steak and that I happened to cook on that day, to tell the truth I rarely ever remember, my birthday is kinda close but not too much to Christmas, so I tended to not get celebrated and instead they got me just one really expensive gift which most often than not was defective, like the scooter that didn't work, or the lego Millenium Falcon that had a rat inside that had eaten a lot of the pieces including all the characters except Chewbacca, though only those 2 times it was actually something more expensive than my brothers, to tell you the truth it never really felt special since the first one I remember that they did get me a gift they also got gifts for my brothers too and they were of the exact same thing, so really it never felt like they were celebrating me.
Which now that I remember did use to bother me since, I always was the smartest and bravest of them all, I remember feeling like they always ignored me, which after some time I accepted and actually started feeling uncomfortable whenever somebody would pay attention to me, WAIT what is this? I think I've discovered issues I never knew I had, and I had started thinking that my character was getting boring because I had already discovered most of it's issues and was therefore becoming boring, oh well.

Luckily for me my family doesn't care about the royalty, so I still got all the attention.
Yay me!

My 19th Birthday, One of my best friends died in the same week. I attended his funeral the following Saturday.

Coincidentally, it was the first funeral I had ever attended. Sad, but true.

It's a toss up between my 19th and my 23rd birthdays. My 19th birthday I was broke and couldn't afford rent (my birthday is on the 1st), but I was living in Canada at the time and could at least now legally drink. My 23rd birthday was pretty much the same, broke, couldn't afford my rent, had to borrow money from my sister and I was now 23, which meant that there was really nothing much to look forward to, age wise at least.

My recent 25th birthday; laying in bed all day with a severe case of pharyngitis (inflammation of the throat).
