Valve said it was due out this summer, free to everyone, but thus far all we've seen is DLC that's bundled with a third party motion controller. I haven't heard anything about it since the first announcement, has anyone else?
Pretty much this.Ordinaryundone said:Ahem, all together now:
ITS VALVE. Seriously, expecting them to release things on time is like expecting the sky to rain steak sandwiches. In an ideal world, it'd happen every day, but in our flawed existence such dreams only serve to remind us of its failures.
You mean the sky doesn't rain steak sandwiches where you are?Ordinaryundone said:Ahem, all together now:

If it rained steak sandwiches Gabe could eat those instead of the yet-to-be-released games and gamers' tears.Ordinaryundone said:Ahem, all together now:

Black Mesa isn't VALVe, it's a fanmade project, with the developers working around real-life obligations. That's why it isn't released yet.Forsvaine said:Lol, Valve releasing things on time. Hahaha. Oh wait, you were serious. Hahahahahaha! Valve misses their own due dates more often than makes them. A lot of developers do this, but Valve seems to be either afraid of it or thinks that because of Half-Life 2, that their highness is free to move at their own pace, lest they appease us peasants. Perhaps you remember The Orange Box? Team Fortress 2? Black Mesa, which isn't even out yet? How about the Half-Life 2: Episode Three that they refuse to develop?
Oh, stupid me. Couldn't tell with the long development time.Dr_Horrible said:Black Mesa isn't VALVe, it's a fanmade project, with the developers working around real-life obligations. That's why it isn't released yet.
