What Happened to Timesplitters

For those who dont know, timesplitters is an awsome game made by a hidden gaming company called Free Radical Design (the creators of Perfect Dark), the game is known for its humor, its FPS style and its strange 100+ playable characters including a monkey, a Bear and a stone golem, its was a game heavy on bot matches and still had a good single player.

Anyway, im not trying to sell you the game instead im just wondering if anyone has heard anything about if there making a 4th one or just Haze 2 or if they are gonna make any of the original xbox versions of the timesplitters series avalible on the Xbox 360 back compatability.

For one, Free Radical is anything but "hidden".

For two - if you're that excitable, just go to their website for gaming news. I doubt you'd find anything though as they've recently released Haze, so any new games they will have in development will be in the shadows until they feel like announcing it.

I've always loved the Timesplitters series, and a sequel would be nothing short of fuckmazing. As long as they keep the game's strong points intact and don't try to "Halo it up", I'd be all over it.

Haze was indeed bad, but Timesplitters has always been very awesome.
I never played any of them online, so that would be something I would now look forward to.

I was madly in love with the genius that was Timesplitters 2 but I was really disappointed by the third. I have heard rumours about a 4, lets hope they go back to the awesomeness of 2.
What would be really awesome is if Timesplitters 2 went up for download on the XBL marketplace, as an Xbox Original.

Free Radical should stick to what they do best, which is making TimeSplitters, Haze was a crock of shit, I'm so glad I didn't buy it in the end, can't say I feel sorry for my friend though lol.

Haze is probably something they knocked up in the garden shed to keep the shareholders happy, while they're working on Timesplitters 4.

I know Timesplitters 4 has been in development for at least a couple of years now & the probably had to make Haze in the meantime to give the appearance of being an active games company.

What happened to Timesplitters: mediocre sales. Not bad sales - there's a sequel coming, after all - but average enough that they tried a new IP first.

Playing Timesplitters 2 always gave me a splitting headache. Dunno why.

Releasing Haze before Timesplitters 4 is one of the biggest mistakes FR could make - people's faith in them will be at a low.

Can't wait for TS4 nonetheless

but yeah, ts has been a great series. ive played it since 2, and i enjoyed future perfect, so ill be keeping an eye out for the 4th installment.
