When I finally won the Chocobo race in FFX and got Tidus's ultimate weapon. I spent hours trying to get that bastard and I finally did it.

beating all of the spec-ops missions on MW2 on the hardest difficulty by myself. for the 2 player missions i plugged in another controller and used them both at the same time. i cant tell you how hard it is to try and handle two controllers at the same time

I have two favorite moments in games, though i suppose they're not particularly hard, they are something most people haven't done, so... nyah. lol.

First and most recently: I was playing Pokemon Pearl version. I got up to the fight with Palkia. Decided to start wasting turns to charge up the Timer Ball (which would have the best capture rates after X number of turns). So I figure, "what the heck, there's a Quick Ball (higher capture rate if used early) in my bag, lets huck it and see what happens... caught... holy crap!" That's right, first turn capture of a full-health Legendary with a Quick Ball. I couldn't do that again if I wanted to.

#2: A long time ago, I was big into the MechWarrior series, specifically MechWarrior 3. I was playing a mission in an underground cave. I was having fun using my jump jets to explore the cave when I accidentally stumble into an enemy Orion (heavy mech) and a couple of his buddies. I traded some blows, but my little Bushwhacker (medium class mech) just couldn't dodge quick enough or hit hard enough to beat him. The Orion closed distance (for some reason, maybe he ran out of missiles). I rushed him, trying to avoid his machine guns, and jumped over his head, trying to target him so I could put a hurtin' on him when I landed. I still have no idea what I did, but I managed to get a clear shot of his head while I was above him. I immediately launched an Alpha Strike (fire all weapons simultaneously), and blew its head to dust. I had flipped my mech in a move straight out of John Woo (or Monty Oum. heh). And in the game you weren't "technically" supposed to be able to invert like that. That was awesome. It stunned me long enough for his little Elemental (minor annoyance enemies) buddies to gang up and take me down, but still... awesome.

The other day I completed every challenge for the UMP45 in MW2. 500 headshots took a hell of a lot of effort, and they didn't even give me a gun finish for it!

I beat Halo 3 on legendary. I know that that may not seem like much, but at the time it was the single most difficult and rewarding thing I think I had ever done in a video game.
Dude, even beating Halo 1 on Legendary is a feat for most people. BE PROUD =D
It so totally was! Got easier as you went though. The flood were easy compared to 4 angry elites.
Dude, y'know what my current proudest achievement is?

IT'S BEEN EIGHT HOURS AND THIS THREAD IS STILL GOING <3

True true true - When it first came out. Dark Crusade balanced it out nicely until Soulstorm came by and screwed it up.

With the challenge of the gods, I was doing fine until the last one.
Soulstorm... was... just a wreck of a game - a total disaster.

(Personally - mine was the first time I beat another human being in a Starcraft 2 multiplayer battle. Not much to write home about, but I'm horrible at RTS against real people - so it was a big step forward for me!)
still havent been able to pull that one off -_-.

Bot my proudest moment is probobly my frikking insane kill on my friend in halo 3. I was at maximum altitude with a banshee on valhalla, did a backflip and jumped out. The banshee hit my friend and killed him, while jumping at 300% running speep. we were like, wtf? what just happened
HA - I love blind luck... check out this for example =D [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abVt08A4gsE]

playing cs source and just rushing the the other team alone killing alot of them but dying from a lucky shot, i was pretty proud of that.

p.s. i really suck at that game so it makes it even better
Pretty much Any kill streak in CS:Source can be a source of total adrenaline - especially considering how Easy it is to die in that game (and how Boring it is to wait to respawn)

I feel your pride my friend - I feel your pride!

On a side-note to everyone else, it may take some time for me to get around to responding to your moments of glory... but in case I don't - YOU'RE ALL AMAZING.

On Audiosurf... stealthing "SynthR - The Last Prophecy" on Ninja Mono with Ironmode and also hitting almost every colored block. Quite literally the most intense heart-pounding gaming moment of my life and I was so fucking happy when I finally did it flawlessly.

My proudest moment would have to be the very first time I successfully installed a mod, granted it was on Mount and Blade and mods for that game are baby steps easy to install, but I was proud nonetheless.

I was being chased by a plane in 1942 and I climbed then ejected. Ended up parachuting back into the same plane, ended up on his tail and delivered some killing shots.
