What has inspired your sense of humor?

I tend to save my humour for times I know it might work. When I do make a humorous remark, I think it could be inspired by Monty Python.
Somehow I find it hard to be funny on fora, and most humorously intended remarks I read do not translate well. I rarely laugh when somebody posts a 'funny' video too, while nigh everybody is textually laughing out loud. General Internet humour is not well spend on me.
