OT: I like to smile when I'm halfway through my part time job
Probably because it's the worst part of the week for me, but thinking that, I realise I have it pretty good, which makes me smile

Well, the memory of the weekend I spent at Uppcon where I met Luna and Discord, a Pshyco from Borderlands, Master Chief and Jack of Blades. Also a lot of other ponies, Rarity, Applejack, etc. It made me smile, and I'll remember it forevah!

I remember two occasions today when i smiled. One was when i was talking to a professor about an exam i just did, and i was pretty sure i got like, 50%, or below, aka, i failed it. And then he took the exam, talked about what i got right and what i got wrong, and then showed the final score. That was 75%. And then he typed that in his chart on his PC, that then showed my final grade´, and it was a B. And boy was I happy. I mean, i was quite sure I´d failed that subject... but i didn`t! So i smiled, for quite a while.

A bit later, i went to buy some groceries, and there was this woman with a child right in front of me in the line. The baby looked at me and smiled a silly little smile, and how the hell can you not smile back at something as cute as that?

But yeah. Smiles are good, and i got a few today, so it`s a good day.

I had my PhD interview this morning, and it seemed to go pretty well, so I've basically been told that as soon as they have my masters results (which they get on wednesday, I get next week), that they'll be telling me I have it. Plus I'm going to a gig tonight, and my undergrad finished last friday, so looking pretty win right now :D

Though it wasn't "Smiling" so much, as it was giggling while feeling smugly superior. That's a positive combo, yeah? Yeah.

EDIT: Also I aced a test today- I probably smiled when my teacher gave me the mark. Hard to recall.

I hurled out a very impressive stream of witty comebacks today. A member of my audience later informed me of this incideht's nature as "epic".

The timing of how my mum revealed that my bubby (Polish grandmother) died the previous morning.

It was in the afternoon, I returned home from a TAFE class to relax. Then she starts saying that she would of told me about something, but she didn't want me to worry before my exams. Then she reveals that bubby died.
Then I'm like "Mum, my exam is toNIGHT"

If she had told me about the death at any other time, I would be depressed.
