Just going through this anime again. The first episode alone had me in stitches, I don't know how one 25 minutes could be that funny.

The opening alone is great too. Fuck the haters.

Oh and Dunkey. Dunkey is the best right now.

Technically yesterday, but these were the most recent smiles. A Game of Thrones rap that was a lot funnier than anticipated:

And the beauty of birdsong:

I was walking my dog this morning, and was standing at the crosswalk waiting to cross the street. An old man in an old pickup truck stopped and let me pass, and I heard him yell "you have a nice day!" as he drove off. He was just a super nice old grandpa, so that was pretty cool and unusual. Also it's my birthday and my boyfriend got me a chocolate cake with my name on it v:

My class had a performance at school today, we preformed a robo-dance to daft punk's "harder, better, faster, stronger", and our very DIY cardboard costumes were absolutely hilarious. The whole performance ended up rather well.

I look outside, and my cat is perfectly upside down, asleep, moving her paws like she is running, go little sasha, go!

Got into a random police check after a two hour car drive, next best toilet in a bakery/cafeteria type business made me go from grumpy and frowny and quite bitchy to instant ultimate mellow. Nothing helps unwind better than an overdue wee.

Also, they served some darn good coffee.

On my way home, I went to pick up a $400 scanner that I totally randomly got for $5, probably because seller didn't bother specifying it or putting up any pictures. Felt like Christmas, the thing is in pristine condition and works like a charm. Best five bucks I've spent this year so far.

Got home and the first batch of some new local cider was waiting for me at home. It's delicious. Turns out just the one guy is new, the location and technique he's using has been in business for a hundred years and then some. Amazing.

Honestly...that video Sony put out where they tell me how I can share my games. I'm probably going to sit this next generation out (for a while, at least), but that video was hilarious. Also, Yahtzee's review of Fuse.

Also this but you might have to play DOTA to understand.
I saw that vid a while ago, it's still awesome.

Ot,
my friend has been trying to jump a pit in Shadow Warrior for the better part of the day. Turns out he forgot you can run in Shadow Warrior.

I was listening to some Teaching Company lectures about famous ancient Romans while I was working, and the old prof doing the lecture had this very theatrical demeanor combined with a grandfatherly voice, and he really, really enjoyed telling the biographies of Scipio, Hannibal, Cato, Caesar and Augustus like as if he was telling a tale to his grandchildren. His enthusiasm just made me feel all fuzzy inside. :)

I've had a truly awful day. Personal life stuff. Ugh.

BUT... I hadn't seen season four of Venture Bros. yet. So I've been smiling quite a lot the last few hours.
