Should I lose an arm, I shouldn't get it replaced - lest it possesses me and radically changes my accent. (MGS)

Nobody will mind if I grab something from a shop and run away, provided nobody sees me when I put it in my pocket. (Fallout 3)

Throwing a rotten egg at someone is potentially fatal. (Resi 5)

Nobody will give a crap if I drive at full speed into a relatively immovable object without a seatbelt as long as it's only my bones that are consequently splintered and nobody else is hurt. (GTA)

Anything will fit in my trouser pocket. Even a duck. (how long a list do you want?)

Always quicksave before you order your meal, that way, if you don't like it, you can always reload and order something else.

always aim for the flashing point or obvious weak point

never startle a crying (w/b)itch

random food on the floor is good for you

There doesnt have to be a logical explanation to anything. it can just happen that way

1. Hits with the butt of a gun penetrate high-tech combat armor better than bullets and plasma. (Halo)
2. If you die you will go back to the last glowing flag you found. (Every platformer ever made)
3. Alien wars end once a big machine or mutant is blown up. (Sci-fi FPSs)
4. Pills have little side effects and will temporarily nullify zombie bites. (Left 4 Dead)
5. Children can run around with gigantic weapons in the future, instead of going to school. (many JRPGs)
6. You cannot capture the flag if yours isn't in the base. (Unreal Tournament)

Bullets will go in a different direction you want it to. (Call of Duty World at War)

Fire kills you in one second. (World at War)

Pokemon are cuter than you think. (LOL XD) (Half life 3 episode 10)

Shooter games are not that violent ;) (Any shooter game even Wii sports)

Hug the walls, watch the corners, reload compulsivly.
Spent some time in Raccoon City, as I can see.=)

I learned that no matter how much battle experience you have, some noob can do it better by luck and "potential". (Fighting games, FF, and a lot of other RPGs)

Also, having viruses turns you into a monster. No wonder people stay away from me when they think I am sick. (RE)

The cake is a lie.

All of my enemies can only see up to 10 feet in front of them

I can take as many bullets that the enemy has as long as I stop to rest for about 5 seconds

Strength, wisdom, charisma, courage, magic, lawfulness, unlawfulness, good and evil can all be quantified numerically. If you have weakened it sufficiently, QTEs can kill anything. People will forgive you for anything if you paint your car a different color. Calling something "non-linear" makes everything better.

I was taught from Mercenaries 2 that Angel Falls is in Venezuala.
Total War helped me in history, as did Assassin's Creed.
Oblivion taught me some archery.
Also, some simple game moves are useful in gym.
You learned about history in Total War, a game where you make your own history?

Assasin's Creed? History? You serious?

Oblivion didn't teach you anything about archery. Unless you didn't know that you had to pull the bowstring back.

I have no idea what you're talking about for that last one.

Anyway, now to contribute to the discussion. From RPGs I learned that all our abilities and skills can be broken down into numerical form.
Ok... Total War has different Empires and historical figures and factions and cities. Assassin's Creed- what Clashero said
Oblivion- It helped me with aiming.
That Last One- tactics in team games such as flanking and dodging
DON"T TELL ME WHAT I LEARN FROM WHAT

I also learned that I should never open a cage with a teddy bear inside or a big ass mutant will run after me.
Seriously, I was not prepared for that one.
