A lot of vocabulary words that I don't see anywhere else, or learned pretty early for my age. Along with that, some of them taught me quite a bit of history without me knowing. It's still fun to go to history class, learn something new and realize "Wait, wasn't X video game like that?"

one thing i learned was from "gears of war" it was take cover or die, which ended up being the best piece of advice to hear before going my first time paint balling
I swear that in the into of the instruction manual for Gears of War it says that they came up with the idea for the game while playing paintball.

Anyways, I learnt that:

- You can always carry extra weapons and ammo on you, even if you don't have a pocket or bandolier for them.
- I can easily assess my condition and calculate how much damage I can withstand before death.
- One man can make the difference between victory and defeat, even when the other side is more numerous, more heavily armed and more highly trained.
- You know no fear for you are blessed by the almighty God of 'Respawning'.

Metroid Prime taught me to check the ceilings, ALWAYS CHECK THE CEILINGS.

Assassin's Creed taught me no matter how suspicious you look normally, walking slowly will get people to leave you alone...unless they want money.

Kingdom Hearts taught me to trust no one.

Zelda taught me mindless chores will eventually pay off, but you also need mindless patience.

Valve taught me that any problem can be solved with hand held gravity manipulating devices, portals and the magical text of noclip.

Stuntman taught me that driving is FUCKING HARD AS FUCK FOR FUCKS SAKE! DON'T EVER DO IT YOU STEAMING PILE OF FAILURE SHIT!

All FPS games and the Hitman series taught me that it is so much easier to kill somebody if you use a gun (unless of course you can melee like the master chief).

Gears of War taught me steroids are essential in the fight against evil. Goodbye testicles.

Guitar Hero taught me that I am shit at real guitar.

Everything I know... Literally.
I'm not really what you would call a 'focus' student when it comes to school, most of the stuff I know is from games, that counts most words I know.
They have taught me Tactical leadership, following orders ect.
They have given me, Insomnia and a extreme case of paranoia, Peripheral vision and when In a tight position, Always use your surrounding and the sound is your friend.

Video games have taught me that, as long as I still have coins, I can live forever! (With the occasional time warp, of course.)

Team Fortress 2 has taught me a few things
1. No one can outsmart bullet.
2. Grass grows, Birds fly, Sun Shines, and Scout hurts people. Also hes a force of nature.
3. Professionals have standerds.
4. Bad demomen can't tell you why they are bad demomen because they wouldn't be sitting there discussing it with you.
5. The answer is always to use gun, if that doesn't work, use more gun.
6. Any time a bunch of animals are in one place its called a zoo, UNLESS ITS A FARM.
7. Spies like the Scout's mother.

1. You CAN tie two chainsaw onto a motorcycle, and run through an army of zombies. (Dead rising 2)
2. No matter how badly you suck at singing, people will love it. (Rock Band 1 and 2)
3. In the future zombies will appear on Mars (You can guess what I'm talking about right?)
4. We will use swords/maces/hammers/staves/cleavers/boxing gloves with spikes on them/clubs/slingshots/ bow and arrows/ axes, while everyone else uses guns. (RPGS)
5. If you're wearing a gas mask you can't speak right (TF2 Pyro)
How'd you learn that from a game that isn't even out yet?
