that you can remake the same thing every year and people will still buy it.
Electronic Arts has just been rinsed.

Video Games have taught me that video games are fun.

If you come across your primary opponent early on in your adventure, and win, you will never kill him and he will return later on as a stronger foe.

Repeat this until the final stages, where you will vanquish him for now and ever more.

I was taught from Mercenaries 2 that Angel Falls is in Venezuala.
Total War helped me in history, as did Assassin's Creed.
Oblivion taught me some archery.
Also, some simple game moves are useful in gym.
You learned about history in Total War, a game where you make your own history?

Assasin's Creed? History? You serious?

Oblivion didn't teach you anything about archery. Unless you didn't know that you had to pull the bowstring back.

I have no idea what you're talking about for that last one.

Anyway, now to contribute to the discussion. From RPGs I learned that all our abilities and skills can be broken down into numerical form.

Running for a few seconds will tire you out and you will walk until you have enough energy to walk again.

In real life: the English language. For that I'm forever grateful.

In a more comic, OP-related way:
It's OK to reload your weapon after 3 shots. Every magazine is full of ammo. All of them. Even if you discard all your magazines.

Actually, Assassin's Creed is based on historical figures. It was surprisingly accurate in depicting Alamut (Masyaf in-game) and The Old Man of the Mountain (the leader of the assassins). Even the Assassins' clothing was spot-on except for the hood. The historical Hashshashin wore a turbant, either white or red.

Fallout 3 taught me that 'No matter what nice things I do, people are still dicks after a nuclear Holocaust.'

I learnt that if I want to get new clothes, I'm going to have to kill a hell of a lot of people of 3 different sizes and a lot of what-look-like Star Trek actors. >.>

Because of MGS3 I was the only person in my 11th grade history class who knew who Khrushchev was.

Also, shotguns can be reloaded completely with only two shells (Resident Evil 4-5)
