In your experiences in real life experiences, movies, games, books and basically any situation ever, what have you learned?

I learned to never ever ever ever get into a serious relationship with uber-sexy people. Sure, their hot, but they tend to have horrible personalities and expect everything to be handed to them due to their looks. Also, a good number of them aren't really too good at anything ( What do models do besides looking sexy?). They can also be stuck up bitches/bastards to boot. ( I know this doesn't apply to everyone of them.)

I learned that if you really want to be succesfull at anything. You need to practice.
To the zone. And if you realy want that high level of skill. Stop caring what others think of you.
Legendary quote: " I dont give a fuck what anyone else on this planet thinks of me "
brought me succes with women, karate, and my studies.

Trust no one and don't rely on anyone but yourself
Enjoy anything that's free but be cautious
You're essential but not replaceable so don't fuck up
Life is what you make of it, if you're down it's your fault

That's what I have learned but I am only 18 so I have a long way to go yet

You respect everyone and trust no one at first. Only over time can someone lose your respect or gain your trust. I had a hard time learning that for some reason.

Its called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.- George Carlin

Actually, just about every thing George Carlin says is true.

I hope that when you are about to die, that practice gives you the comfortable knowledge that your life has not been an exercise in selfish futility. I mean that.

Because existence isn't ultimately futile.

Nothing much, just that people are usually horrible and the ones who aren't are usually cowards, and the exceptions aren't in my acquaintance. And that with caffeine, duct tape, a little willpower and time, anything can be done.

Life isn't fair. It's gonna pick you up, drop you, kick you, smash you, and leave you to die. You can do several actions in life. You can pack up, give in. You can rely on your mommy or daddy or older relative or friend to fix everything for you. But neither of those hold anything close to a candle to the brilliance you create by picking up where you were destroyed, examining your options, and saying, "Let's get back in the game."
