Trust no one and don't rely on anyone but yourself
Enjoy anything that's free but be cautious
You're essential but not replaceable so don't fuck up
Life is what you make of it, if you're down it's your fault

That's what I have learned but I am only 18 so I have a long way to go yet
Ha! You are going to be unhappy in time with that attitude, friend.

-Humankind is a social species. You find a group you can rely on, or a community you can rely on, or a government you can rely on, or you die lonely.
-Nothing is free. You pay for it with the hours of your life.
-No one is so essential that the world will not forget you in time. If you fuck up, don't fret too much. It won't bother you long.
-Life is not taken from the womb like an opportunity seized. It is given, both in sorrow and joy. The opportunities to become a better person are, again, given. You are a combination of your environment and your genetics (arguably also environment), so feel lucky if you're not "down."

I'm sorry, I think of the image of the "self made man" and I think of a fellow being birthed out of his own womb. Ridiculous.

Secrets are usually pretty damn bad. The amount of bitching they create...

I have some ***** I was in love with a year or so ago to thank for that. ***** told me she was a lesbian, apparently a friend of mine told her what I felt for her and she pretended to ignore that. I was too wimpy to tell her myself. Queue lots of bitching and a fight, and I pretty much haven't talked to her since.

And I tried to hide the fact that I'm seeing a psychiatrist, which made my parents believe that I wasn't doing anything to prepare myself for whatever I have to do next year. And the bitching that that spawned, my gods...

No one can relieve him of his suffering or suffer in his place, his unique opportunity lies in the way in which he bears his burden - Viktor Frankl

Got that tatted on my skin

Basically people spend to much time crying and bitching about the stuff they go through instead of just living and dealing with life as it comes. Sure it isn't easy when the going gets tough and not everything is fair but you can learn from everything that happens to you...good, bad, indifferent it doesn't matter. Every opportunity and situation you find yourself in provides a chance to learn either from your mistakes or your successes, your feelings or your lack there of, your cognitive thoughts or your instincts....there is always an opportunity to learn and improve on who you are, and no one can do it for you...your unique opportunity lies in the way in which you bear your burden....

Respect has to be earned.

Be nice to everyone, trust no one.

If someone says "trust me" they are lying.

The only way to get someone to be truthful is to get them drunk.

Girls like it when your nice to them, they also like it when your a bit of a dick, so mix it up a little.

Not everything is worthy of tolerance.

Forgiving someone is just giving them an ok to screw you over again.

Red vs Blue is the single best thing on the internet.

I learned that if you really want to be succesfull at anything. You need to practice.
To the zone. And if you realy want that high level of skill. Stop caring what others think of you.
Legendary quote: " I dont give a fuck what anyone else on this planet thinks of me "
brought me succes with women, karate, and my studies.
I hope that when you are about to die, that practice gives you the comfortable knowledge that your life has not been an exercise in selfish futility. I mean that.
Because existence isn't ultimately futile.
If you have the faith to believe that, more power to you. It's why humans evolved the capacity for faith, after all. If I may quote early man as he looked up at the stars and wondered why he didn't fall up into the utter blackness, "I don't like not knowing."

Nietzsche's words, "He who has a why to live can bear with almost any how."

If you don't hate whatever government you live under you are somehow a government sheep.

Aparently, being a police officer involves you to be a facist pig.

To sum it all up, the general youth of America is absolutely retarded and cannot accept authority because it has a bad ring to it.

Also, I believe that we would be better off without the internet. Trolls be damned.

Not faith, pure fact.

Nihilistic/existentialist views on the world are ultimately correct. Why? Because as far as what we know about universe goes, at some point everything will be reduced to nothing. If we're still stuck on one planet, the sun's not gonna burn forever. Otherwise, heat death from good ol' buddy entropy, or the potential big crunch (I haven't read much in the field of astronomy lately, don't know if that theory still holds).

So, ultimately, everything will be destroyed with no retrievable evidence of it's existence because there wouldn't be anyone to retrieve it.

In much shorter time periods, like a lifetime, one can devote his or her time to various shorter-term goals. Basically, existentialism. You create your own meaning, because there is no meaning otherwise.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life ? daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." - Viktor Frankl

That handsome fellow.
